Zachery Ty Bryan Sues Hotel Over Taser Attack

Zachery Ty Bryan, who played Brad Taylor on Home Improvement, is suing Choice Hotels International over a taser attack back in April of 2008. Zach claims he was staying at a hotel in San Diego when he and a few friends went across the street to grab a Gatorade. When he came back just after midnight, Bryan’s lawyer claims the hotel wouldn’t let him upstairs, since the room wasn’t in his name. That’s when a hotel employee claims a drunk Zach went nuts, so they used a Taser to subdue Zach.

The report doesn’t mention if the police were called. If not then they should have been. Tasers should be used by Police, not hotel personnel on someone who is outside their hotel complaining about being locked out. Sounds like the hotel staff thought they’d play bad cop on a celebrity who pissed them off.
