Yanni Doesn’t Hit Girls

51 year old John Yanni Christopher was cleared of hitting his girlfriend.

His girlfriend of two years, Silvia Barthes, 33, said Yanni shook her, tossed her on a bed and body-slammed her. The argument apparently erupted after Yanni ordered her to pack her bags and move out.

Barthes claimed he slapped her; police reportedly found her with a swollen and bloody lip, though Barthes said she may have struck herself while she was being shaken.

For his part, Yanni admitted there had been an argument but said he only grabbed Barthes after she kicked him in the groin. He denied ever striking his girlfriend. Why is it the guy seems to be the only one ever arrested?

I guess Barthes wanted to take the fight to a whole new level by trying to get poor Yanni in trouble with the cops. Well, now she’s out, and hopefully won’t be causing anymore problems. If you get setup with a girl named Silvia Barthes, just start running and don’t look back.
