Willie Nelson is a Dog’s Best Friend
Right now Willie Nelson is appealing to Georgia legislators to pass a law that would make dog fighting a felony in the State of Georgia. Willie did an ad in which he says:
"Dog fighting is against the law in Georgia, but the laws are so weak, the beautiful state of Georgia has become a haven for dog fighters from around the country."
The Willie ad will air around December 10 when Michael Vick will be sentenced for his role in a dog fighting ring. The dog fighting bill has passed the state Senate, and will go before te House committee in January, so call your representative to make sure they know you support this bill.
