Watchmen Movie Delayed by Legal Fight

The new superhero movie Watchmen is scheduled to hit theaters in March of 2009, but that date is now in question. Warner Bros., who made the movie, was sued by 20th Century Fox.
Fox claims they had an agreement to Watchmen rights, and Warner Bros. say Fox gave up their rights to Watchmen in a 1994 agreement.
A federal judge says the Fox case can be heard by the court, and Fox may ask for an injunction, preventing the movie to be shown until the case is settled. To avoid that scenario, Warner Bros. could just settle the case by cutting Fox in on the deal.
The Watchmen movie looks really good, and could be a big blockbuster, which is why Fox brought the case to court.
