Vanilla Ice Domestic Violence Case Dropped

Vanilla Ice, Robert Van Winkle, was arrested earlier this month after his wife accused him of pushing her, but first she said he hit her, but changed her story when police arrived, then the wife said she wanted a divorce. We called B.S. the minute this story hit the wire. We simply didn’t believe a wife who keeps changing her story. The Palm Beach County, Florida, prosecutor didn’t believe her either, and said:

"The State declines to file criminal charges. There is insufficient credible evidence, due to the victim recanting her original statement and lack of an independent witness."

As a result the wife’s restraining order has also been lifted.

Vanilla said at the time his wife was bipolar, and had been getting worse. If Vanilla is smart, he’ll divorce his wife now, and get custody of his child before anything bad happens again. That’s what Kevin Federline did.
