Tomi Rae Hynie Proves James Brown is the Daddy

A DNA test performed in April proved that James Brown is indeed the father of James Brown II, just as Tom Rae Hynie had claimed all along. The James Brown estate trustees, and other Brown children, claimed that Brown and Hynie were not legally married, and that Brown was not the father of the boy. Another friend of Brown’s also claimed that Brown had a vasectomy, which would make it impossible for him to have fathered the boy, but DNA tests proved who was lying, and it wasn’t Hynie.

This is a big relief. It’s always a good thing when a child knows positively who their father is, and vindicates Hynie from accusations that she was sleeping with other men besides her husband. Hynie may seem a little strange, but she knows who the daddy is, and now she has proof.

The court will likely now move to order the Brown estate to provide for James Brown II just as it is for Brown’s other biological children.
