Tina Fey played Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live in the video above.

Barack Hussein Obama was criticized for remaining on vacation in Hawaii in August, while Georgia was attacked by Russia in an effort to get control of Georgia’s oil pipeline, and many people there died. This time when Hurricane Ike hit Texas, leaving 3 million people without power and life’s necessaries like water, Obama decided to cancel his guest appearance on SNL. What exactly Obama is doing to help Texans remains a mystery.

Although John McCain, and Sarah Palin, were not invited to make a guest appearance on SNL, they are working to help the people of Texas. Palin said in her final speech in Alaska before heading out on the road to rejoin McCain’s campaign:

“Today and in the days ahead the American heart is going to be on display. That’s what happens in times of tragedy and in times of crisis like we’re seeing again on the Texas coast. It’s a time when America’s best rise to the top, and our heart is displayed. America is going to stand shoulder to shoulder with the victims of Hurricane Ike’s fury.”

“As we’ve seen in other disasters, crisis on this scale can bring out the best in our country. They show the heart of good America in times like this and today once again it is time for Americans to pull together and to help where the need is greatest so I thank you for offering to help.”

On the home page of John McCain’s web site, he put information and a link up for people to help hurricane Ike victims in Texas.

  1. I like the picture of Mcain and Kooky Eyes, the dudes 72. Obviously they are helping out to get votes it isn’t rocket science. prediction, if McSame gets in he dies due to too much stress within the 1st year and a half and Nutbar takes over and we are more screwed than ever. Damon is right, this is like a bad Disney movie. People falling in love with Palin is like a Simpsons Episode when in the town hall meetings they vote for something ridiculous without knowing anything and it ends up blowing up in their faces. Time will tell, but they really isn’t anyone voting for except maybe Ron Paul.
