and have you thought of how would single mothers feel after raising their children with all they’ve got… that they’re not enough? yes it’ll be kind of different in a normal mom-dad-child situation but then again, it’s how you raise your child, the love you show them and proper communication is the key for a better future for your kids…
not some pessimists who’d say how their lives will be…
teach your children that they’re no different than this child ^^

The point is, he refers to Filipinas as what, a baby maker? I know it’s a joke but Alec wasn’t referring to giving a Filipina a better life but to make him a baby. how does the wife breastfeed the child? when she wasn’t the one pregnant? u have to be pregnant for the milk to kick in… ????
While I agree that Thomas Beatie is still very much a woman, I do not agree that there’s something wrong with going to a sperm bank just because it takes away a child’s choice to know his/her father. Uhm… men leave their families all the time. With your logic, that means that the mother should do everything in her power to make sure her child the child’s father stay in touch all the time. With your logic, a child should not be fatherless. Does that mean a woman should remarry ASAP if her husband, boyfriend or whomever leaves or dies or marries someone else?
Let’s not forget adopted children, who know neither of their biological parents and don’t always get the choice to know them.
I think one mother is enough. Two mothers are even better. And in this case, the child knows one biological parent and one adopted parent. All that matters is that they will love and support their child. Is an adopted child any less loved than a biologically related child? Not at all.
In fact, I would argue that in this case, because the parents actually WANT their child and PLANNED to have her that they will have a very happy family. I can’t say the same for folks who accidentally get pregnant when they never wanted a kid in the first place.
