The Simpsons is now The Longest Running Show on TV
Fox has ordered another two seasons of The Simpsons, which will bring the total number of shows to 493. That makes The Simpsons the longest running TV show in primetime history.
The previous record hold is Gunsmoke, my dad’s favorite show to this day. He also likes The Simpsons.
