Zac Efron made headlines when a picture of his earwax filled ears hit the Internet. Saturday night at Beso in Hollywood, California, a paparazzo threw handfuls of Q-tips at Zac making reference to cleaning his ears.

Vanessa Hudgens, who was in front of Zac, got a Q-tip stuck in her hair, and she lost her shoe getting into the car.

Hopefully Zac will get the message and keep his ears free from the yuck monster.

Zac Efron may look all clean and neat on the outside, but he might want to think about buying some Q-tips for his ears.

Zac Efron has said he wants to take a break from musicals, and it looks like he found a non-musical project.

Burr Steers, who directed Zac’s latest movie called 17 Again, wants Zac to appear in an adaptation of the book The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud.

The novel was written by Ben Sherwood, a former Good Morning America executive producer, and centers around "a caretaker at a cemetery who manages to have weekly meetings with a younger brother whose accidental death he feels was his fault."

Wait a minute. The novel was written by a former Good Morning America executive producer? This already sounds like it sucks. There’s no mention if the book was even a best seller. It sounds like a Lifetime movie.

Zac is still in negotiations, so hopefully he’ll find a better movie before finalizing anything. Zac needs to find a project that will showcase all his skills, and prove he can be a leading man. The wrong project could put his career in the DVD, or cable TV category.
