It’s called GUILT … There is a rumor that Woody is the close friend that set Owen off last August. They were working on writing a film together and after the failed invention, Woody supposedly lost patience with Owen’s reported using (probably not realizing Owen’s true mental state at the time) which culminated in Woody supposedly really ripping into him for not doing his share of the work on the project (and Woody can reportedly have a wicked temper when he’s angry.) After Owen slit his wrist following the fight, Woody was then supposedly so wracked with guilt over what had happened that he reportedly brought Owen back to his own house three days after the attempt (even supposedly picking him up from the hospital) and provided him with round-the-clock medical care for a couple of days and nights and has been trying to make it up to him ever since …
