George Takei admits he has had disagreements with William Shatner in the past, and that he is inviting all his other Star Trek cast buddies to his wedding to Brad Altman, just not Shatner. It would have been better if Takei would have answered the question with a "no comment."

A wedding is an intimate experience, and Takei may only want his closest friends there, but it’s also a historical gay wedding. Takei could set a good example by demonstrating tolerance, forgiveness, and inclusion, rather than the opposite. Not slated to make even a cameo is William Shatner who played Captain James T. Kirk in the original series and movies. About ten years ago Kirk was killed, but he needs to be brought back to life. The film revolves around the Starfleet Academy days of the crew of the Starship Enterprise when there were wild parties, and naked chicks running around naked in the halls.
