Vaughn is still a good writer, and his Fred Clause movie looks like a good one. Below is an extended trailer that will be show as a preview during the upcoming Harry Potter movie. Did I mention Paul Giamatti and Kevin Spacey are also in the movie? No elves were hurt during filming.

Take it all with a grain of salt, but if it’s true, rumored boozehound and soft body Vince Vaughn may be looking pretty good to Jen right about now.

Jen needs publicity. Remember that fake relationship with Vince Vaughn? Well this team is about to start Act II. Rumor has it that they will be participating in a The Breakup musical. They only recently released the movie on DVD. They’re really milking The Breakup for every buck they can get out of it. I hate to even ask, "What’s next?"

I’ve always thought it was a staged relationship for The Breakup movie, so it’s no surprise that Jennifer Aniston got an unexpected Christmas gift, a visit from Vince Vaughn.

A source reports that the actress’ fake-ex popped by her Hollywood Hills home on Christmas Eve with a present.

“It was no big deal,” the pal said. “They’re still friends.”

While Vaughn, 36, spent New Year’s in Las Vegas (where, according to a source, he “looked nervous and wrecked” after betting $11,000 on the University of Southern California in the Rose Bowl), Aniston, 37, joined BFFs Courteney Cox, David Arquette, their daughter, Coco, and Sheryl Crow for a getaway to the ritzy Esperanza Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, December 27, and rang in 2007 with a lavish dinner at hot spot Mi Casa.

“Jen was having an amazing New Year’s,” a restaurant source said. “She seemed content with all her friends around her.”
