Lily Allen says hypnosis helped her slim down from a size 12 down to a size 8. Us Magazine reports:

Allen slimmed down with the help of Susan Hepburn, an accredited hypno therapist and psychotherapist who charges approximately $600 an hour to implant subconscious messages into clients’ minds reminding them to stop eating when they feel full.

"After the hypnotism, I want to go to the gym every day, otherwise I feel really bad,â€ Allen, 22, said. â€œI just want to get more toned and healthy. I’m really good about everything at the moment — I’ve never been happier.â€

If the hypnosis helped so much then why is she still drinking and smoking? Oh that’s right, drinking and smoking makes your skin look younger, and keeps you from getting colds. I used to run this assisted help center for fat people. My clients were fat and ugly, but I couldn’t do anything about the ugly, and losing weight didn’t really help them make new friends, since they got really cranky and irritable from not eating. I didn’t implant any "subconscious messages." I just told them straight out, "you’re fat." Then I attached a shock colar and followed them around. If they even looked at a donut, bzzzzz zap! The cops shut me down when they discovered my work out program involved having my clients clean my house, wash my car, and carry me around in a chair like the ancient Egyptians.

The Sun UK has been doing a lot of sex tape reporting lately that requires the kind of fact checking that Britney Spears uses to decide if she wants to wear clothes or not. Her motto, "Just do it," much like The Sun UK’s fact checking. The report says that Britney met a random guy in Hawaii for some casual sex, and they casually video taped it. The guy says he’s too embarrassed by his lame performance to release the tape. The Sun reports:

The man in question says he met the singer on holiday in June and taped their alleged night of lust in Britney’s hotel room. However, according to the unnamed man, the romp was a bit of a damp squib. He reportedly told a US magazine: â€œIt was just normal sex, we didn’t do anything crazy. It was a little disappointing. It lasted for about 25 minutes and then we passed out.â€

The Sun said the Eva Longoria sex tape was real, and that turned out to be untrue. After seeing Britney barely move, and gasping for air after only a few minutes shuffling her walker around the VMA stage, I don’t see her lasting 25 minutes having sex, even if she just laid there. Unless of course there was foreplay first, which would consist of eating a buffet of food for 24 minutes, then 1 minute of sex. After which, Britney would eat her new lover for desert.

Hayden Panettiere Threatens to Kill Reporter

The other day there was an allegation that Hayden Panettiere threatened to kill an Us magazine reporter while she was on the red carpet: Here’s more:

Anyway, it was the unbreakable Hayden Panettiere who threatened to "kill" a staffer from Us Weekly over something she wrote about her in a recent issue. Just when it looked like Hayden was about to pull a Sylar on said reporter’s skull, her quick-thinking publicist grabbed her and scolded, "Not on the red carpet." It was a classic Hollywood moment – and one I predict will be streaming all over the Internet by week’s end.

Hayden didn’t mean to "kill" anyone. Maybe the people over at Us Weekly should pass out a dictionary defining slang used by young people. The reason Hayden isn’t happy is because she’s moving from one guy to another like musical chairs, and she wants to keep her sex life a secret. She dumped Stephen Colletti, and she’s already moved on to co-star Milo Ventimiglia. In the video above the Milo and Hayden were dancing at the Emmy Awards after show party, and Milo was tenderizing his new meat with his hands and lips. By the time Hayden hits 21 years-old she’ll have handled more meat than a butcher.

Jake Gyllenhaal Talks like a Hetero Man

Jake Gyllenhaal was in Toronto recently where he gave an interview on his new movie. There are so many gays that want desperately to have a regular looking guy like Jake to be gay, so they just throw it out there at least ten times a day. It must suck to have all those hot gay male dancers on their side of the fence, right ladies? Then there are the other rumors that Jake likes MILF Reese Witherspoon. Another rumor from Us Magazine today said they broke up again. Unless there’s a sex tape, who cares? The bottom line is, Jake doesn’t seem to be a top or a bottom, he seems to just be a regular American guy, who likes chics. In the video Jake talks about doing the difficult stuff guys have to do to protect and defend America. Sure it’s not as fun as gay life, where they ride well hung Unicorns, slip down the vaseline slide into pools of milk and honey, and get to wear comfortable panties all day, but who would you want protecting you from the boogie man, a nancy boy, or The Terminator?

Britney Spears 2007 MTV VMA Peformance Reaction

The reaction today to Britney Spears 2007 MTV Video Music Awards performance is ranging from shock to horror, but no one is surprised. The AP said:

As in most train wrecks, it was hard to focus on just one thing as the Britney Spears disaster unfolded. There was just so much that went wrong. Out-of-synch lip-synching. Lethargic movements that seemed choreographed by a dance instructor for a nursing home. The paunch in place of Spears’ once-taut belly. At times she just stopped singing altogether, as if even she knew nothing could save her performance.

The AP reports just the facts. The New York Post said:

…why was Britney Spears’ totally lame, pathetically lip-synched Video Music Awards performance at the Palms Casino last night allowed to be seen by the rest of the world? Spears was stuffed into a spangled bra and hot pants and jiggled like Jell-O as she sleepwalked through the song. She didn’t seem to care that she danced like she had a pantload, that her lips weren’t synched with the song, and that the tune isn’t all that great.

The New York Daily News said:

Glassy-eyed and out of step, Britney seemed lost in a sea of pole dancers and overmuscled male models who groped her so much she wasn’t even mouthing the words by the time her number ended. Cuts to the audience revealed fellow artists rolling their eyes. 50 Cent looked like he might have just thrown up in his mouth, and Rihanna was flat-out laughing to a table guest.

And Us Magazine said:

Following a dismal performance of Spears’ new single, "Gimme More," a source tells Us that Spears was spotted "crying badly backstage. She’s devastated. She was really nervous and knows she screwed up." The singer may have had an inkling of what was to come prior to her performance: A VMA insider tells Us that Spears fired her hairstylist right before going on.

It’s the look of shock and horror. With all the gore and violence 50 Cent has seen on the streets, Britney’s performance is the one that will leave him shaking, and scared to sleep alone at night. When 50 Cent left the VMAs last night he was as white as Michael Jackson, and kept mumbling, "The horror, oh the horror."

Britney Spears Parties the Night Before VMA Rehearsals

It’s official: Britney Spears has become a caricature of herself. You honestly just can’t make this shizz up. On the night before she was expected in Las Vegas for rehearsals for the VMA’s, Brit Brit thought fit to do what she knows best…show up to a club wearing her token fedora/no-pants combo. Sponge Brit No Pants! Hole in the pantyhose sold separately. Us Magazine reports:

The night before she was expected in Las Vegas to rehearse her single â€œGimme Moreâ€ with illusionist Criss Angel, the perennial party girl, 25, hit up L.A. club Opera.

Accompanied by her cousin Alli Sims, Spears â€” clad in a cream fedora, gray mini-dress with stockings, knee-high boots and long pearl necklaces â€” settled into a corner booth around 12:32 a.m. (Her wig of choice? A blonde, shoulder-length number.)

â€œBritney was in a great mood all night, smiling, laughing, upbeat,â€ a witness says, who adds that Spears also smoked a few cigarettes and danced to Rihannaâ€™s â€œUmbrella.â€

â€œShe was really getting into the songs,â€ the onlooker says.

Apparently, she worked up a thirst: â€œBritney drank beer, vodka cranberry and vodka tonic,â€ says the witness.

Sucking a lollypop, Spears left hand-in-hand with Sims at 1:45 a.m.

Alas, the two called it a night after hitting a Wendy’s drive-thru around 2:20 a.m.

Nothing says comeback like showing up half-cocked and bloated! You go Brit!

Nick Lachey–Singer (?) Turned Restaurateur

Apparently they’ll let any boy-bander turned…turned what…what does he do these days anyway? Well, Nick Lachey is opening a new restaurant in Vegas. Us Magazine reports:

A source tells Us the singer, 33, is opening an American-style restaurant, Company American Bistro, at Las Vegas’ Luxor Hotel & Casino, in partnership with Pure Management Group. His co-owners? Nicky Hilton, 23, and Wilmer Valderrama, 27.

Their specialty? Douche a L’Orange.

Britney Is Confirmed For VMA’s

Us Magazine has confirmed with MTV that whorrendous Brit Brit will, indeed, be the opening act at this Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas. She’ll be singing the song "Gimme More," which is coincidentally what she says when she disappears into the bathroom stalls at clubs.

The pop star collaborated with illusionist Criss Angel, star of A&E’s Mindfreak, on "some of the moments of the performance," says Jesse Ignjatovic, the executive producer of this year’s VMAs. Ignjatovic said it was important to secure Spears, 25, for the big show’s opening number.

In a never-before mindfreakalicious treat, he will get Britney to actually sing instead of lip synch. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!

"I guess, looking back, we’ve had a great history with her," he said. "I wanted to start the show in a very big and dramatic way, and she’s the one to do that. She’ll captivate everyone, and set the tone for the rest of the night. There’s no one better."

Though a Justin Timberlake source tells Us that rumors of a Timberlake/Spears duet are "patently false," fans should still expect to be surprised.

â€œShe’s planning it to be a big comeback performance,â€ a Spears insider tells Us, adding that the goal is to make it â€œshocking.â€

C’mon, do they actually think we can be shocked by Britney anymore? She could show up in astronaut diapers, a full beard, and give a horse a hummer on stage and we’d all just laugh and say, "Oh Britney!"

Jessica Simpson’s Large Mouth Betrays Her Jealousy Over Cameron and John

While John Mayer is busy going green, Us Magazine is reporting that his ex, Jessica Simpson, is busy being green…with envy.

A source close to the singer tells Us Simpson is â€œreally jealousâ€ that ex John Mayer is seeing Cameron Diaz. â€œShe had her mouth open a mile wide when she found out,â€ says the source. â€œShe just freaked.â€

And the way they could tell this was her mouth being open a mile wide? Have they seen Jessica Simpson before? Her mouth could fit a freight train twice on Tuesday and she shows us that in every photo she takes.

Simpson, 27, parted ways with Mayer, 29, in May after dating him on and off for seven months, and â€œshe thinks about him all the time,â€ says the source. â€œShe is so not over him.â€

Meanwhile, Simpson seems to be a distant memory for Mayer, who has continued his summer romance with Diaz, 35, in NYC. Though they spent August 22 and 23 apart (he hit the gym and recorded at a studio; she shopped and then lunched at Maryâ€™s Fish Camp), they finally squeezed in quality time in the wee hours of August 24 at hot spot Socialista. The pair â€” who left at 4 a.m. through different exits â€” â€œwere very cozy,â€ says a witness.

But what, pray tell, of the rumored romance between Cameron and Bradley Cooper? E! reports:

Sources close to Bradley and Cameron Diaz tell me that the two have been dating the past couple weeks. Pretty adorable, no?

Bradley’s rep insists that it is "not true" that the two are dating. However, insiders tell me that Cameron and Bradley have been busy sending flirty text messages to each other throughout the day and spending quite a bit of time together.

I can only guess that Cameron must be good in the sack cuz that face could be most people’s butt double.

Owen Wilson Addicted to Cocaine and Heroin

US Magazine claims Owen Wilson was addicted to both heroin and cocaine, and he went to church 3 days before he attempted suicide. Here’s more:

Wilson visited a St. Monica church in his neighborhood on August 23, out of either devotion or desperation. Three days later, actor Luke Wilson, 35, found his brother in his Santa Monica, California, home with his left wrist slashed, having ingested a quantity of pills.

While the news stunned Owen’s fans, members of his and Hudson’s inner circles were reportedly all too aware of his private struggles with depression and addiction to cocaine and heroin.

According to sources close to the actor, his downward spiral only worsened after his June split from Hudson, 28.
"We always thought he was just too fun-loving, but now it’s obvious he was just dealing with way too much to handle," says a family friend.

I still think Owen went over the edge because of the breakup with Kate Hudson. She probably didn’t mind the drugs, but a church boy was just too much for her to handle what with her Pagan beliefs and all. Page Six agrees with US that Owen was addicted to cocaine and heroin. Here’s more:

Wilson’s drug use was so frequent, it was even the cause of his Memorial Day breakup with Kate Hudson. And his friends are placing the blame squarely on Wilson’s newfound best buddy, British actor Steve Coogan, with whom he starred in several films.

"I went through it with Steve," Coogan’s former girlfriend, rocker Courtney Love, told US. "I was just out of rehab, and he was right there with the drugs. I tried to warn Owen. I tried to warn his friends. I hope from the bottom of my heart that Owen stays the hell away from that guy."

Wilson’s addiction was so severe, his pal Woody Harrelson tried to stage an intervention at his home in Maui. "Owen went to Maui, Hawaii, to kick his habit," a longtime Wilson pal told the mag. "He was like a baby on that couch."

The friend said that heroin was the first thing that came to mind when Wilson and Hudson split and he suddenly "disappeared off the face of the earth."

Another cause of his depression was his very public split with Hudson it all became too much for the actress when Wilson’s struggles came to light.

She even banned Coogan from Wilson’s house while they were dating. "She knew he was bad," said a source.

If Courtney Love says Steve Coogan is bad news, then he’s REALLY bad news. It’s a good thing Coogan isn’t on trial for murder with Courtney on the stand pointing her bony finger at him saying, "Steve Coogan did it." If Owen was on drugs it’s no wonder he was depressed. I’d like to think it was more the drugs than Hudson, because I really like her as an actress, and I don’t want to imagine her crushing someone’s heart while it beats in her hand.

Yesterday Variety Fair asked Fox if Owen’s mental health situation might affect his participation in "Marley & Me." The Fox spokesman called the question "totally inappropriate." Today it is being reported that Owen is dropping out of a new comedy "Tropical Thunder." Owen was scheduled to begin filming his minor part in a week. Looks like that question was reasonable after all.
