Chorus Class Can be Fun
Posted on April 23, 2008 at 8:24 pm (PST)A music teacher at a public school in New York City put a video of his chorus class on YouTube singing the Tori Amos song Flying Dutchman. Wouldn’t it be great for the kids if Tori herself showed up to sing the song with them?
Kicked Out Tori Amos Fan Fights Back
Posted on December 23, 2007 at 11:39 am (PST)Last week Tori Amos gave another terrible performance, then kicked two fans in the front row out of the show in the middle of a song. How humiliating is that? Well, now one of the two girls, Monique tells her side of the story on her MySpace:
"All I was doing was telling my friend who went to the restroom that I couldn’t believe she missed her favorite song by Tori … and Tori had the f**king DIVA audacity to stop her song and tell me to leave just because I was talking about how amazing her live rendition was."
"Guess my First Amendment rights were taken away at the door."
I saw Tori live and I came away very disappointed. Her performance sucked, and she acted like a self indulged diva. I like her music, but not Tori. She’s too full of herself for my taste.
Tori Amos Kicks Girls Out of Show - Video
Posted on December 14, 2007 at 7:23 am (PST)The other night Tori Amos was performing in San Diego when two girls kept getting out of their front row seats and walking around. Tori is on her Code Red tour, and finally about 2:20 into the video Tori had enough. She got up and said "Get the f**k out of my show. I reserve those seats for people who appreciate music. Get the f**k out!" Security then removed the girls without any fuss.
I’ve seen Tori Amos live in concert, and she completely sucked. She didn’t even make an effort when I saw her, so I can’t say it’s a priveledge to even see her at all. In my opinion those girls were the lucky ones. At least they could do something more fun with the rest of their evening than sit in a crappy Tori Amos show. She’s really full of herself. Who does she think she is, Madonna?
