Pete Wentz was on the Ryan Seacrest radio show today. Pete said he, and Ashlee Simpson are staying at home rather than going on a honeymoon, and that Ashlee legally took the last name Wentz, but will be called Simpson professionally. They also both signed a prenup. Smart. Most couples would get married when their work schedules allowed them to go on a honeymoon, but this wedding took place because Ashlee is pregnant. It was a shotgun wedding.

Pete wouldn’t comment on Ashlee’s pregnancy, but he already confirmed it at the wedding.

Pete said that Tony Romo was at the wedding dancing mostly with Pete’s grandma. The story about Jessica and Tony still dating just keeps falling apart.

Joe Simpson and Jessica Simpson’s rep may still be saying that she and Tony Romo are still dating, but they aren’t acting like it, unless you ask People magazine who bought sister Ashlee’s wedding pictures for $1 million.

People say the pair were getting cozy at the wedding. Hahaha.

On Sunday, Jessica and her parents, Joe and Tina, took a private jet to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, without Tony. Guess he had better things to do, like getting on with his life.

Joe Simpson practically got down on his knees and begged Tony Romo to escort Jessica Simpson to her Ashlee’s wedding on Saturday. Tony has agreed.

Today Tony met Jessica for lunch at Katsuya in Hollywood. Tony arrived alone in a cab. Jessica arrived in her Range Rover.

Jessica’s rep, Cindy Berger, is still denying reports the pair have broken up. C’mon, they arrive in separate cars? That’s not a date, it’s an appointment. All business.

Ashlee Simpson, who is pregnant, and her fiancé Pete Wentz are tying the knot on Saturday. Papa Joe threw a bachelor party for Pete at Mr. Chow’s on Thursday evening, and even picked up the $1,000 bill.

At Saturday’s wedding Joe is probably hoping Jessica can get Tony good and drunk, then try to rekindle their relationship. I don’t think Tony is that gullible. He’s probably already had a long talk with Nick Lachey.

Something definitely happened to scare Tony away. Fox News is reporting that Tony had plans to propose marriage to Jessica in a few weeks, then suddenly changed his mind. We have a feeling Papa Joe’s overbearing behavior is what convinced Tony to move on.

One of Tony Romo’s best buddies from his Eastern Illinois college days says Tony ended his relationship with Jessica Simpson for two reasons: the intense media scrutiny that comes from being in Simpson’s life, and the problems he has with her overbearing father, Joe Simpson.

Tony’s buddy also said Tony was also disturbed by the intrusive style of Joe Simpson, because he started to offer unsolicited advice to Tony on his career, endorsement opportunities, and things that have nothing to do with him dating Jessica.

Tony also said that he was upset by Simpson’s interview in Glamour magazine where she referred to Romo as her "future husband," and other on-the-record interviews she has given, saying she wants Romo to be the father to her children.

On top of all that Jessica still talked about how disturbed she was by how John Mayer dumped her. She’s definitely got a lot emotional baggage, and it’s stacking up.

Despite the breakup, which Jessica officially denies, Tony is still escorting her to Ashley Simpson and Pete Wentz’s wedding on Saturday.

Besides wearing eye liner, and girls clothes, there must be something really wrong with Pete to feel comfortable around Joe Simpson.

Nick Lachey should write a book about his relationship with Jessica, unless he signed a non-disclosure agreement. There are a lot of twisted secrets Joe wouldn’t want us to know about Jessica.

Jessica Simpson denied reports that she and Tony Romo broke up, but Star Magazine has the evidence that Jessica lied to save face.

On May 10 Tony was at the Chicago Manor nightclub with 21 year-old Lindsey Betrus, a graduate of Michigan State University. A source says:

"Lindsey is a terrific, down-to-earth woman — and she’s never been a Hooters Girl, as some people have mistakenly reported! As for her time with Tony, he was totally the aggressor that evening!"

That confirms it. Tony dumped Jessica. All that talk Jessica did last week about having babies and getting married to Tony, caused a light bulb to go on in his head. He got smart, and got out.
