Kingston Rossdale played with Ruby Maguire at the Coldwater Canyond Park yesterday. It wasn’t their first play date. Kingston, who is the son of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, and Ruby, who is the daughter of Tobey Maguire, also played together earlier this month at a pumpkin patch in Beverly Hills.

If arranged marriages existed in Hollywood, these two would already have a date at the altar years from now. So cute.

Tobey Maguire Friend Sends Paparazzo to the Emergency Room

Tobey Maguire took the family to the pumpkin patch in West Hollywood along with some friends. One of those friends thought he was so cool he beat up a paparazzo, who is seen the video with a bloody head, and later was taken to an emergency room in an ambulance. The police were called, but we’re not sure if the violent attacker was arrested, although he didn’t look so cool when police were taking him aside for questioning.

The paparazzi were taunting Tobey Maguire as he and his wife tried to leave Madeo’s restaurant in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. Tobey finally lost his cool, and used some profanity to emphasize the Paps need to get out of the way, because he couldn’t see with the light flashing in his eyes.

The paparazzi should have enough brains and respect to allow an opening for people to drive their car through. It’s like the paparazzi want to get run over just so they can sue the celebrity. It’s happened before.

Robert Downey Jr. in Blackface

Robert Downey Jr. portrays a white man Kirk Lazarus, who is an Oscar-winning actor who dyes his skin black in order to play a black character in the most expensive Vietnam War film ever made. Tropic Thunder is the movie, and Ben Stiller wrote, and directed the movie.

Stiller says that he and Downey always stayed focused on the fact that they were skewering insufferable actors, not African-Americans. ”I was trying to push it as far as you can within reality,” Stiller explains. ”I had no idea how people would respond to it.” He recently screened a rough cut of the film and it scored high with African-Americans. He was relieved at the reaction. ”It seems people really embrace it,” he says.

Also appearing in the movie are Jack Black, Nick Nolte, Tom Cruise (in a fat suit), Matthew McConaughey, and Tobey Maguire. Owen Wilson was supposed to appear, but that was right about the time he tried to commit suicide.

Seeing a white guy trying to act black might be as funny as seeing Dave Chapel in white face trying to act white. The difference is, Dave is a comedian, and Robert isn’t, so …

Jennifer Aniston and Jason Lewis Are Dating

Jennifer Aniston (38), pictured above left, was spotted yesterday boarding a private jet to Los Cabos, Mexico with a mystery man who was NOT Jason Lewis, from Sex and the City. Can anyone identify the guy in the picture on the right? Jen and Jason joined Courteney Cox, David Arquette and their daughter Coco for a little vacation. This is the Arquette’s fourth year in a row vacationing in Los Cabos. David is probably relieved Jen finally found someone. Earlier reports said David and Courteney’s marriage had been strained by Jen’s constant presence. Now it’s all good again. Tobey Maguire, his wife Jennifer Meyer, and their daughter Ruby (2), were also in Los Cabos, and visited the Arquettes around 11 pm. Ruby must really love the night life.

Hopefully Jen will finally find happiness with someone. The rumor about Jen being pregnant is not true.

Tobey Maguire was outside Il Sole on Saturday, where a Spidey-Man fan approached him asking for a photograph with him. Maguire ignored him and slammed the door in the poor man’s face. The guy said, "thanks a lot, you’re a nice guy." Click here to see the video.

A few weeks ago, Maguire smacked a fan’s camera to the ground when he snuck up on him, and attempted to snap a shot of the two of them together. Click here to see that video.

Are Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire Gay Lovers?

Every day it seems gay bloggers are saying someone they have the hots for is gay. The latest targets are Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire. Supposedly, they are supposed to be gay lovers, despite the fact that Tobey just had a baby with his woman. Seems like Tobey could just ask his lady to strap one on and give him some satisfaction, rather than risking a romp with DiCaprio at a cheap motel. Of course those cheap motels have those cool vibrating beds, and you could get a lot of satisfaction with a roll of quarters.

Tobey Maguire Smashes a Fan’s Camera

Tobey Maguire smacked a camera out of the hand of a fan who tried to get his picture while he was headed back to his hotel in Paris. It looked like Tobey said no, but the fan still tried to take the picture, that’s when the Spidey sense kicked in, and the camera smashed into the concrete. Another bad fan’s plans foiled.

Spiderman 3 Most Expensive Movie Ever

Due to an over-the-top script and delays that caused shooting to run months longer than anticipated, Sony Studios will reportedly spent $500 million dollars to bring Spiderman 3 to the big screen. Radar Online has the details here:

As production dragged on into late summer-it had been scheduled to conclude in June-stories about the project’s ballooning budget started popping up all over town. But in the end, even the most hyperbolic of observers may have underestimated the final tab. Industry insiders claim that Sony spent $350 million or more on production alone. With marketing and promotion factored in, the total price tag will approach half a billion dollars-positioning Spider-Man 3 as the most expensive movie of all time. (Cleopatra, the 1963 epic that has long held the title of priciest picture, had an inflation-adjusted budget of $290 million.)

Kirsten Dunst said Spiderman 4 would be a flop without her, but she failed to mention that Spiderman 3 would have cost $350 million dollars less without her. That cost was probably all due to the added special effects to try to make snaggle tooth Dunst look less like a zombie, and more like a glamorous female star. Tobey Maguire is easy to please, he just asks for veggy platters.

It looks like parenthood agrees with actor Tobey Maguire and fiancÃ©e Jennifer Meyer, if these first photos of the couple with new daughter Ruby Sweetheart are any indication. The Seabiscuit actor and Meyer, a successful jewelry designer, recently celebrated their first Christmas Eve with their 8-week-old at a Beverly Hills park.

â€œThis is truly the best time of my life,â€ Meyer, 29, recently told USA Today. â€œI’m walking on air. I’m getting married, and starting a family.â€

â€œIt’s completely indescribable,â€ Maguire, 31, said of fatherhood during an appearance on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on December 15.

Why the name Ruby Sweetheart?
â€œJen’s grandmother, who passed away recently, would always call her â€˜Sweetheart,’â€ Maguire explained to Jay Leno. â€œWe named her that to honor her grandmother.â€ As for Ruby? "We just like the name.â€

What’s Tobey like as a dad?
â€œHe’s having the best time with Jen, taking care of the baby,â€ says a friend. And Sam Raimi, director of Spider-Man 3 (out May 4), tells Us, â€œI know Tobey to be a perfectionist, and very in touch with his emotions. He’ll be the most sensitive, loving father.â€

Engaged since April, the pair actually â€œwanted to get married before the baby was born,â€ says a family friend. â€œBut they couldn’t get it together in time.â€
