Kingston Rossdale played with Ruby Maguire at the Coldwater Canyond Park yesterday. It wasn’t their first play date. Kingston, who is the son of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, and Ruby, who is the daughter of Tobey Maguire, also played together earlier this month at a pumpkin patch in Beverly Hills.

If arranged marriages existed in Hollywood, these two would already have a date at the altar years from now. So cute.

Tobey Maguire took the family to the pumpkin patch in West Hollywood along with some friends. One of those friends thought he was so cool he beat up a paparazzo, who is seen the video with a bloody head, and later was taken to an emergency room in an ambulance. The police were called, but we’re not sure if the violent attacker was arrested, although he didn’t look so cool when police were taking him aside for questioning.

The paparazzi were taunting Tobey Maguire as he and his wife tried to leave Madeo’s restaurant in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. Tobey finally lost his cool, and used some profanity to emphasize the Paps need to get out of the way, because he couldn’t see with the light flashing in his eyes.

The paparazzi should have enough brains and respect to allow an opening for people to drive their car through. It’s like the paparazzi want to get run over just so they can sue the celebrity. It’s happened before.

Robert Downey Jr. portrays a white man Kirk Lazarus, who is an Oscar-winning actor who dyes his skin black in order to play a black character in the most expensive Vietnam War film ever made. Tropic Thunder is the movie, and Ben Stiller wrote, and directed the movie.

Stiller says that he and Downey always stayed focused on the fact that they were skewering insufferable actors, not African-Americans. ”I was trying to push it as far as you can within reality,” Stiller explains. ”I had no idea how people would respond to it.” He recently screened a rough cut of the film and it scored high with African-Americans. He was relieved at the reaction. ”It seems people really embrace it,” he says.

Also appearing in the movie are Jack Black, Nick Nolte, Tom Cruise (in a fat suit), Matthew McConaughey, and Tobey Maguire. Owen Wilson was supposed to appear, but that was right about the time he tried to commit suicide.

Seeing a white guy trying to act black might be as funny as seeing Dave Chapel in white face trying to act white. The difference is, Dave is a comedian, and Robert isn’t, so …

Jennifer Aniston (38), pictured above left, was spotted yesterday boarding a private jet to Los Cabos, Mexico with a mystery man who was NOT Jason Lewis, from Sex and the City. Can anyone identify the guy in the picture on the right? Jen and Jason joined Courteney Cox, David Arquette and their daughter Coco for a little vacation. This is the Arquette’s fourth year in a row vacationing in Los Cabos. David is probably relieved Jen finally found someone. Earlier reports said David and Courteney’s marriage had been strained by Jen’s constant presence. Now it’s all good again. Tobey Maguire, his wife Jennifer Meyer, and their daughter Ruby (2), were also in Los Cabos, and visited the Arquettes around 11 pm. Ruby must really love the night life.

Hopefully Jen will finally find happiness with someone. The rumor about Jen being pregnant is not true.
