Jay-Z Defends Kanye West VMA Incident with Taylor Swift
Jay-Z is playing down, and defending, the rude behavior by Kanye West when he ruined the historic moment of Taylor Swift being the first country music artist to win a MTV VMA award. Jay-Z to Jo Whiley of BBC Radio 1 on Friday:
“Of course it was rude because it was her moment but that’s the way he really felt. I think it was rude but the way they’re treating him… He’s on the cover of every paper. He didn’t kill anybody. No one got harmed.”
No one was harmed? Taylor’s moment was history for the VMA awards, and in her life it was also history, especially at 19 years-old. We get the impression Jay-Z doesn’t care because Taylor is just some white girl to him.
50 Cent Would Have Punched Kanye West in the Eye
50 Cent is promoting his book, and he was asked to comment about Kanye West ruining Taylor Swift’s moment being the first country music artist to ever receive an MTV VMA.
50 Cent said what we said, even an apology can’t replace what it feels for the very first time receiving that award, and now Taylor has been damaged with the memory of Kanye storming the stage and taking the microphone. 50 Cent also talked about how Kanye also chose a weaker female to victimize in front of a national audience with his rant, to which 50 Cent said he would have gave Kanye a black eye.
50 Cent has been doing a lot of talking lately, and we really like what we are hearing.

Kanye West Has Not Apologized to Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift went on The View to say Kanye West has not apologized to her yet. No call, no email, no apology, which contradicts a report that says she told ABC News Radio:
"Kanye did call me, and he was very sincere in his apology, and I accepted that apology."
This isn’t one of those situations where a person can’t simply apologize, and its suddenly all okay. Kanye needs to be banned from receiving, and from attending, award shows for 5 years, during which time he should endeavor to be the best artist he can be while doing it in a humble non-egotistical way.
President Obama Calls Kanye West a Jackass
President Barack Obama was asked about Kanye West jumping onstage to steal Taylor Swift’s moment while accepting an MTV VMA, and Obama called Kanye a Jackass. Obama made the comment just before he did an interview on CNBC, while wearing a microphone.
