Wynonna Judd made a comment that Taylor Swift was too young to be as successful as she is despite possessing the talent that earned her that success. Wynonna said:

"You want my honest comment? It’s too much too soon. Time is God’s way of keeping everything from happening at once. It’s just too much of a good thing too soon. My thing is, being a home-school mom, I want kids to earn it, and I think some time … ’cause mom and I rode in a car for the first year of our career to visit radio stations. There was a making of the star, there was a rising up, and the fans went with us. Now it’s over coffee breaks, the success, almost. You have to play catch up … It’s like the girl who wins an Oscar and she’s under 20. What do you do from here?"

There must have been an immediate backlash because Wynonna posted another message on her website to take it all back:

"I understand that my comment about Taylor Swift’s Entertainer of the Year nomination came across as a negative statement. My intent was not to take anything away from her talent and contributions to the country music industry…all of which are truly unprecedented for an artist of ANY age. Taylor is a beautiful, hard working young woman that deserves the success she has had and I support her as an artist and as a woman in the business."

Wynonna almost made a big mistake in taking an undeserved cheap shot at Swift.

Taylor Swift won all four Country Music Awards she was nominated for, sold out her tour, and proved she is the hottest female in music right now.

Swift is the youngest person, and first female solo act, to win the Country Music Association’s entertainer of the year award.

Taylor’s success supports my theory that Kanye West doesn’t have a clue when it comes to assessing the talent of other artists. I forgive Kanye’s lack of ability to see beyond himself because of his narccissm.

Taylor Swift (19) attended a birthday party bash for Katy Perry in West Hollywood last weekend. At the party everyone painted stuff on their shirts. One guy painted a Swastika on his, and then took a picture with Taylor.

Taylor’s rep responded to the posting of these pictures that hit the Internet by saying:

"Taylor took pictures with about 100 people that night … she doesn’t know who this guy is and she didn’t realize what was on his shirt."

We believe Taylor’s rep, and we think the guy probably just painted that on his shirt to get attention, not because he believes all the bad stuff that the symbol used to signify back in WWII.

Trying to make these pictures into some sort of Taylor Swift scandal is a bit much.

Taylor Swift was asked in an interview for YOU Magazine "wouldn’t a bit of teenage rebellion be healthy?" Taylor said:

"I’ve been given the freedom to do whatever I want. I’m 19. If I want to storm out of the house, and go to a club and get drunk, and take me clothes off, and run n*ked through Nashville, I can do that. It’s just as simple as that. It’s not like I’ve been beaten down by some corporation that’s forcing me to always behave myself. I just naturally do. Sometimes people are fascinated by the fact I don’t care about partying, almost to the point where they think it’s weird. I think when we get to the point where it’s strange for you to not be stumbling around high on something at 19, it’s a warped world."

Hear that young Hollywood. Taylor is a role model you, and the rest of young America can actually look up to. Taylor isn’t a DUI kind of girl, and despite the drama, her talent has carried her career to new heights, and everyone is talking about her. Despite what some people say in the gossip world, you don’t need to get pregnant, get a DUI or arrested, go to rehab, and all that garbage just to get noticed, unless you’re a no talent hack.

Taylor is an old fashioned real celebrity, the kind with real talent.
