Former Miss USA Tara Conner vowed to stay in New York after passing on her crown last month and moving out of Trump Place. But the beauty queen, who did a stint in rehab during her reign, suddenly dropped her plans after the L.A.-based pageant aired. Sources say she’s decided to stay on the Left Coast with a guy she met there while preparing for the show. She’s moved into his house and is trying to get a hosting gig in Tinseltown.

Miss USA Tara Conner told NBCs "Today" show it was a relief to talk about her drug use which had been rumored when she hit New York’s nightclubs for several weeks last winter.

"I have done cocaine, yeah," Conner told interviewer Matt Lauer in her first interview since completing 31 days in rehab.

Connor also admits taking antidepressants and other drugs that triggered an allergic reaction. "I’ve tried several different things. But, you know, it’s always the same effect," she says. "The more that I get it off my chest, the better I feel about myself. It’s not healthy for my recovery to sit here and hold things back."

Matt Lauer also said that in their interview, Conner said she would not pose nude in Playboy magazine as some reporters have suggested. The full interview will be aired on Saturday on "Dateline NBC."

A spokeswoman for the Miss USA organization confirmed Conner would not strip for the magazine.

"There was as a conversation between with Mr. Trump and Playboy, but this is not something that Tara wants to do at this point in time. She feels it is inappropriate," the spokeswoman said.

She declined to comment on Conner’s drug use, saying it was up to her what she wished to disclose about her treatment.

She said Conner had moved to a new apartment in New York since leaving rehab and now has a "chaperone."

"Traditionally the girls have always had someone who lives in the apartment with them,’ the spokeswoman said.

The news that Conner won’t be doing Playboy has really left me feeling like a limp noodle. I already had a case of puffs plus with lotion ready to go when that issue hit the news stands, but now I’ll just have to wait until I get a cold to use it.

As you can see in the picture above Tara likes to fly, and not just by taking drugs. Her favorite is to get high and then fly. You know it’s time to get off the plane when you hear, "Welcome everyone to Playboy Bunny Airlines, my name is Tara Conner and I’ll be your pilot today."

Miss USA Tara Conner is out of rehab, but Donald Trump and the Miss Universe Organization are keeping a tight leash on her. Friends say the beauty queen has moved from her Trump Tower pad to a bigger apartment farther uptown, which she now shares with a chaperone. "She is not allowed to go to clubs anymore," said an insider, "and she has a lot of new rules for going out." A spokesperson for Miss USA said, "Plans to move to a bigger apartment with a chaperone have been in the works for months, and Tara is free to go wherever she wants."

The chaperone is probably a Chippendale, and not one of the gay ones, oh wait, they’re all gay aren’t they. Well then, a hot male model who is heterosexual, and hung like a horse. Conner probably loves horses, and had a pony at every one of her birthday parties, but now she likes to ride them. Yippee-ki-yay!

Miss USA Tara Conner is "a completely different person" since going through rehab, she said.

"My life has completely changed," she said Friday. "I’m a completely different person out of rehab. Before I entered rehab I hardly knew who I was. I felt like I was floating and I just needed someone to pull me down."

The Kentucky native, who turned 21 on December 18, initially entered a rehabilitation center in Pennsylvania on December 21, following allegations of hard partying, indiscretions with men and unreliability. She spent 31 days there, including Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

"I didn’t think I had any kind of issue going into rehab. I even said, ’I’ll get some free therapy,’ or something like that, and that was so ridiculous," says Conner. "But I’ve realized I do have an issue. I suffer from the disease of alcoholism and addiction. And if there’s anything that I want people to know it’s the severity of this disease and what it can do to people."

Conner almost lost her crown after reports of her wild behavior surfaced in December. However Donald Trump, co-owner of the Miss Universe organization, offered her a second chance.

Conner also admits that she tried drugs in addition to alcohol, and that she took her first drink at the age of 14. She checked out of the Pennsylvania facility on Sunday.
