Tom Cruise’s ex-girlfriend, Penelope Cruz, is the latest celeb to say she has seen Suri Cruise. “She’s really beautiful. She’s one of the most beautiful babies I’ve ever seen,” the 32-year-old actress told the Associated Press Thursady at the British premiere of her new film, Volver. Cruz, who dated Cruise from 2001 to 2004, declined to offer other details of the meeting.

Suri, the daughter of Tom Cruise (44), and Katie Holmes (27) hasn’t been seen in public since she was born on April 18, 2006. Earlier this month, however, Jada Pinkett Smith said that she also has seen the baby. “She’s one of the sweetest babies I’ve ever met in my life,” Pinkett Smith said. “She’s an absolute beauty and she’s Daddy’s little girl.”

Cruise’s pal and fellow Scientologist, Leah Remini, has also met Suri. The King of Queens star said the little girl, “looks like Tom and Katie. She’s just beautiful.” Um, duh, I’m sure everyone knows Suri looks like her parents. Doesn’t convince me that she saw her Scientology buddy’s baby.

Let me just add that I’ve seen Suri too. There she was in a little baby basket. I could see her silhouette on a screen that made it impossible for me, a non-scientologist, to look directly at Suri. It was so I wouldn’t go blind from the vision of such purity that is Suri. I even had to wear welder’s goggles. I was allowed to take a few pictures, but I was required to keep the lens-cap on, so the pictures didn’t turn out.

Tom Cruise’s people insist he’s not getting married this weekend to his Scientology-inducted bride, Katie Holmes, but something seems to be up. Our spies insist some sort of ceremony will happen in Los Angeles “that only Scientologists will be allowed to attend.

Katie’s parents will not be there,” but, the couple’s hairstylist “Oscar Blandi is booked all weekend for them.” Holmes’ parents, who are Catholic, can at least be consoled that Cruise’s first marriage to Nicole Kidman was annulled, meaning that in the eyes of the church, he was never married.

This could be some sort of Scientology baptism of Suri Cruise. I wonder if cameras will be allowed at this secret ritual.

You can see the Suri Cruise’s stroller in the picture, but no Suri Cruise. Why wouldn’t Katie take her daughter Suri for a nature walk? Why bother taking a baby stroller to Colorado if you’re never going to use it? There are wild animals, ticks, and other bugs that aren’t friendly to babies, so why leave the stroller out on the back porch? Maybe Suri will turn out to be like big-foot, lots of sightings without pictures, and evidence that Suri exists, like in the form of strollers, but still no pictures of Suri herself.

Katie Holmes’ parents are reportedly refusing to attend her wedding to fiancé Tom Cruise. The Top Gun actor plans to marry the Batman Begins actress, the mother of his daughter Suri, in a Scientology ceremony in late July or early August.

However, Katie’s devoutly Catholic parents, Martin and Kathleen, will not attend the nuptials because they do not approve of Tom’s devotion to the bizarre sci-fi cult.

The ceremony will allegedly be conducted by Scientology leader David Miscavige. A family friend revealed to America’s Life and Style magazine that Katie’s mum and dad “are not happy” with their daughter’s choice of where to marry.

It is also claimed that the former Dawson’s Creek star had hoped to have a separate Catholic wedding to appease her angry parents but Tom is not willing to compromise.

According to the source, Martin Holmes allegedly said: “If Katie can have a proper Catholic wedding her whole family will gladly be a part of.” Since she began dating Tom, Katie has become heavily involved in Scientology, and is reputedly planning to convert from Catholicism to the ‘religion’.

Tom made it sound like Katie was already a scientologist in interviews. It is very bias that Katie’s parents will not respect other religions to honor their daughter’s marriage to Tom. It could be that Tom won’t compromise, because Katie’s parents initially took such a firm stance on having a Catholic wedding. It’s not a good idea for parents to try to control a couple’s choices. What they will get is excluded. If that’s the life Katie chose the parents should support her, so they can stay close and watch over her to make sure she stays healthy, happy, and most of all safe.

There are big players in the bidding wars over celebrity baby photos, and you may be surprised at what a picture of Suri Cruise can fetch.

Editorial staffers from People, Us Weekly, In Touch, Life and Style, and OK!, spoke candidly on condition that no names be used.

A source at OK! magazine said that a set of exclusive, posed photos of the nearly three-month-old Suri would go for anywhere between 4 and $5 million. People reportedly paid $4.1 million for pictures of Shiloh Jolie-Pitt. The OK! source believes the high price tag is justified, partly because there would be a huge spike in circulation, and also because of “the cred” that a glossy would get by having the photos plastered all over the world.

Sources at In Touch and Life & Style magazines beg to differ. The feeling there is that Suri’s first pics would garner a relatively paltry $2 million – $3 million. One source said the concealment of Suri “stinks” of Tom Cruise trying to manipulate the situation by creating mystery and thereby driving the price up.

Over at People, a source says that the photos would fetch less than Shiloh’s. The source says the main draw is not the baby or Tom but Suri’s mom, “People are fascinated by Katie Holmes, who’s leading such a weird life now,” transforming from an apple-cheeked All-American girl into the Bride of Scientology.

A Us Weekly source also believes that Suri photos would be a less valuable commodity than Shiloh pics. The thinking is that Brad and Angelina were “beautiful and romantic” after their baby was born. The source says the value in Suri pics have more to do with the “freak factor” of her parents.

And there’s this, One editor said that the price of the photographs would depend in no small part on where the proceeds from the sale end up, implying that it would be a very different matter if the millions went to African orphans than straight into the coffers of the Church of Scientology.

But what if the first Suri pics were not posed but captured by a paparazzo? A source at Splash News, a photo agency, thinks the shot would be “the biggest picture by a long mile in the world, and that as time goes on, it will only get more valuable.” The source says one good shot could fetch up to $2 million.
