Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt sold a photo shoot of the pair getting married in Mexico to Us Weekly. The Huffington Post reports:

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt appear on the Wednesday cover of Us Weekly with the headline "Heidi & Spencer Elope!" But were their nuptials a legal marriage, or just an elaborate photo shoot?

Images given to Us Weekly by the couple, show the pair at various stages of a wedding ceremony at a chapel near Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on Nov. 20. The accompanying story features an interview with the Montag and Pratt, as well as details about the rings, Montag’s dress, and the content of their handwritten vows.

The story does not address whether they obtained a marriage license or took part in a separate civil ceremony, which is required by Mexican law to make the union binding.

A couple can register their marriage up to 10 days after a ceremony, but California does not recognize marriage ceremonies outside the United States, according to the state’s Department of Public Health. A couple can petition a court later to have their marriage legally recognized.

We still don’t know if Montag or Pratt are legally married, but that’s okay, because no one seems to care.

We are hearing that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt got married in Mexico. Congratulations!

Last year Lauren Conrad was getting paid an estimated $10,000 to $20,000 per episode. This year it’s a lot more. In Touch listed the salaries for each cast member of The Hills non-reality reality show:

• Heidi Montag: $65,000 per episode
• Spencer Pratt: $65,000 per episode
• Audrina Patridge: $35,000 per episode
• Whitney Port: $20,000 per episode
• Brody Jenner: $10,000 per episode
• Lauren Bosworth: $10,000 per episode
• Stephanie Pratt: $8,000 per episode

In Touch says and insider said:

“The only reason L.C. gets paid more than anyone else is because she demanded in her original contract that no one could ever get paid more than her.”

Lauren can thank Heidi and Spencer constantly whoring themselves in the media for helping to boost all of their salaries, and attract more attention for The Hills.

Mary-Kate Olsen made it clear, when she appeared on David Letterman, that she doesn’t like Spencer Pratt, whom she went to high school with. Now we know why.

Spencer Pratt sold a picture of Mary-Kate Olsen drunk for $50,000. Spencer spilled the beans in an interview:

“Basically, I made it, like, my mission to try to go on a date with every girl on The Hills,” says [Spencer Pratt] who will proudly tell you he made $50,000 in high school by selling a photo he took of Mary-Kate Olsen drinking at a party. Pratt ended up “falling in love” with one of the Hills girls, Heidi Montag. Their drama dominates the current season.

Spencer has made a living selling secrets about everyone else, like the rumors he spread about Lauren Conrad. Spencer better watch his back, because one day he’ll make a mistake and someone else will sell him out, like Heidi Montag.

Mary-Kate Olsen made a creepy and uncomfortable appearance on David Letterman last night to promote her new film The Wackness. Mary-Kate talked about spending her 22nd birthday at Bonnaroo, making out with Ben Kinglsey, and not wanting her kids to be child actors. Then she talked about Spencer Pratt, who Mary-Kate said she went to high school with. Dave mentioned Spencer is a little "wormy," and "oily."

Mary-Kate: He does not have a good temper. He walked out of a few games. He would walk off the field. He was like, ’Me or the coach!’

Dave: Were you friends with the guy at the time?

Mary-Kate: No.

Dave: Because I’m surprised about the soccer. Because looking at the guy, he looks like a guy that has never broken a sweat, I would guess.

Mary-Kate: Oh, my God - that brings up stories! I don’t know if I should talk about it.

Dave: No, c’mon, let’s hear one. Let’s go.

Mary-Kate: [laughs] The Wackness is a great film.

Dave: What I don’t understand is how does a kid that age, and he’s only in his 20s or maybe even your age, how does a kid like that get to be so oily?

Mary-Kate: It’s a mystery to me.

Dave got a little tickle fantasizing about Mary-Kate making out with a guy his age.
