Selena Gomez on Live with Regis and Kelly

Selena Gomez made her first appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly on Thursday. Regis showed pictures of Selena and Demi Lovato when they were on Barney. Selena said she has a "huge crush on Shia LaBeouf." She said she isn’t dating anyone, but we already know she is dating Nick Jonas, but they both say it isn’t serious. Not serious yet.

Shia LaBeouf Took Responsibility at Accident Scene

Brian Perrulli gave a statement to Access Hollywood saying Shia LaBeouf took responsibility at the scene of his accident, rather than running away as others encouraged him to do. Access Hollywood says:

An eyewitness has come forward with new details surrounding Shia LaBeouf’s car crash on Sunday, including allegations that at least one person suggested the actor leave the scene of the incident.

Brian Perrulli was heading home from work in the early hours of Sunday morning, when he came across the accident, which occurred at the intersection of Fountain and La Brea in Los Angeles. After pulling over to try and help out, Perrulli said he overheard a man, who had been in the vehicle LaBeouf hit, telling the actor to flee the accident scene.

“Shia was tending to the other people in the car, signing over information, like insurance and stuff and basically, I overheard the guy tell him, ‘You should just get out of here and go,’ and Shia said, ‘Nah man. I gotta deal with this. My license plate, it’s my car. I don’t wanna go, I gotta deal with this.’”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, LaBeouf collided with another vehicle as he attempted to make a left hand turn in Hollywood in the early hours of Sunday morning. The green Ford truck LaBeouf and his female passenger were driving in flipped over.

LaBeouf, his passenger and a woman from the other vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment following the crash. While the two women were released, LaBeouf required surgery on his left hand. He was also cited, arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and released while at the hospital by the Los Angeles County Sherriff’s Department.

Perrulli claims he heard the man from the other vehicle, who has not yet been identified, say he would cover for the star.

“The guy Shia hit told him, ‘You should get outta here,’ and ‘I never saw you.’ He said, ‘I never saw you,’ and Shia said, ‘No, man, I gotta stay here and deal with this. It’s my problem,” Perrulli said.

While LaBeouf is due to head to court to face drunk driving charges, Perrulli said the actor did not seem intoxicated.

“He looked more disoriented and shocked more than drunk. I wouldn’t have thought he was drunk,” he said.

Shia would be in a lot more trouble if he had left the scene of the accident.

Shia LaBeouf Not At Fault in Accident

Los Angeles Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said Shia LaBeouf was not at fault for the crash on Sunday:

"Detectives have determined that the other driver in Shia’s bust-up Sunday morning ran a red light, and that person is responsible for the crash, not LaBeouf. "He was not at fault."

Shia got lucky. Cops did not do a Breathalyzer on Shia at the scene of the accident, but said he appeared intoxicated. If blood wasn’t taken at the hospital to determine Shia’s alcohol level, his attorney could argue Shia was stunned by the roll-over accident, and that’s why he “appeared intoxicated.” LUCKY!

Isabel Lucas was Shia LaBeouf DUI Passenger

Isabel Lucas was the girl who was in the truck on Sunday at about 3 am when Shia LaBeouf got into an accident after drinking too much. Lucas was back on the Transformers 2 set today after suffering only minor injuries from the accident. Shia had to undergo extensive left hand surgery, but his mother says he is doing fine.

Lucas has been dating Adrian Grenier, from Entourage, for months. A source said:

"She was in the car….They’re friends. The two have been working a lot of late nights on the set and most likely were together to let off some professional steam."

Uh huh, riiiight. Blow off some steam at 3 am on their way back to Shia’s place. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this one out.

Shia told Details magazine’s September issue that he and his dad used to drink and smoke together. Shia said:

"We would drink together and smoke together, and it’s just a bad deal. It’s not something that is conducive to being a role model—no iconic actors that I know of have problems like that. And I don’t know how to do it like a gentleman. I don’t know how to have one drink."

Shia’s biggest problem is impulse control. If he wants to smoke he does, if he wants to drink he does, if he wants to go out with someone else’s girlfriend he does. Shia loves trouble, but his career won’t last long if he doesn’t kick that habit.

Shia LaBeouf Accident Scene

Transformers 2 filming has been put on hold while everyone waits for Shia LaBeouf to recover from the injury to his left hand, which required extensive surgery today. It’s a good thing Shia is insured for this type of thing, but that insurance is about to get more expensive with DUI charges pending.

Shia’s publicist released the following statement regarding Shia’s DUI arrest, hospitalization, and surgery:

"Attorneys for Mr. LaBeouf confirm that an automobile accident involving an additional party occurred early morning in Los Angeles on July 27, 2008. Shia is currently recovering from extensive hand surgery with plans to return to work on the set of Transformers 2 within one month. No further comment will be issued at this time."

Lindsay Lohan cannot find work on big films anymore, because her insurance is too expensive after her DUI’s, and other rehab related problems. Shia had better get some help now before he ends up in the same position as Lindsay. Shia is his own worst enemy.
