In his new book Lance Armstrong explains why he ended his relationship with Sheryl Crow weeks before her 44th birthday:

"She wanted marriage, she wanted children; and not that I didn’t want that, but I didn’t want that at that time because I had just gotten out of a marriage, I’d just had kids."

"Yet we’re up against her biological clock, that pressure is what cracked it."

"We went to a couple counseling, but there is no way to counsel that situation."

"Because if somebody wants a child, man, that’s the greatest gift you can give to a woman, so who are you to stand there and say I don’t want one. So we were at different points in our lives. We were not compatible on that issue."

Either both the man and the woman want it, or it’s a deal breaker. It’s good to see Lance didn’t get himself into a situation that would have made him unhappy later, and caused a possible split with a child involved like his previous marriage.

Later a still unmarried Crow, then 46, and her child bearing options diminishing adopted a two-week-year old infant she named Wyatt Steven Crow. Crow remains unmarried today.

Next month Armstrong’s girlfriend, not wife, Anna Hansen will give birth to the couple’s baby. It seems Armstrong left out one detail from his book, which seems to be that he was more against getting remarried, than having another child. Sheryl it seems wanted it all, wasn’t willing to compromise, so she lost it all.

Sheryl Crow is attention seeking these days, and says Jennifer Aniston was the one who dumped Brad Pitt. Um yeah, after he cheated on her with Angelina Jolie. Sheryl said:

"For both of us, the perceived idea is that, in our big relationships, we both got dumped. Believe me, this is not true. Neither one of us has ever gotten dumped. No one ever knows what goes on in relationships. Unfortunately, for some people like Jennifer and me, so much is written about things that you don’t say, and so many emotions are attributed to you that you haven’t had."

Obviously Sheryl still isn’t over Lance Armstrong, but hey she beat breast cancer, so celebrate life.

The National Enquirer reports a friend of Jennifer’s said:

"Once Jen saw the writing on the wall, she dumped Brad. She took a cold, hard look at her marriage and realised it was irretrievably broken. She and Brad had vastly different personal agendas and feelings about love, career and having a family."

Exactly. Brad wanted a family, and now he has it. Jennifer didn’t want a family, and she doesn’t. Jennifer just hangs around Courteney Cox’s family all day, which causes problems in Courteney’s marriage. Great friend.

Lance Armstrong says, despite his daughter taking Ashley Olsen to show and tell the other day, “Ashley Olsen and I are strictly friends. We have hung out amongst other friends, and she strikes me as a nice, smart lady.”

Sheryl Crow was reportedly unhappy about Lance and Ashley dating. She said on her blog, “Lance and I are friends. I have a lot of respect for him and what he does in the world of cancer. What he does in his personal life … is none of my business. Nor would I ever comment on it.”

The age difference alone between Lance and Ashley makes it unlikely they would ever seriously date. Sleep together maybe, but nothing more than that.

Jennifer Aniston says she is not in the process of adopting a child. Though OK! Magazine’s cover claims that Aniston was inspired by Sheryl Crow and new "boyfriend" Paul Sculfor to adopt, it just isn’t so.

Aniston’s rep says, "It is completely false. Jennifer has not met with any adoption agencies."

Whew, that’s a relief.

If Jennifer Aniston gets her way, she’ll soon be the adoptive single mother to a bouncing baby boy, just like Sheryl Crow, Calista Flockhart, Sharon Stone, Mia Farrow…my fingers are getting tired, but you get the idea.

Inspired by her good friend Sheryl Crow, who just became a mom to adopted son Wyatt, Jennifer Aniston is seriously considering adopting a baby. The 38-year-old actress has met with the same adoption agency that helped bring Sheryl and her son together. Jen has also been spotted buying a ton of baby products. All she has to do is set up a nursery in her 15-million, 9,000-square-foot pad in Beverly Hills — the house she’s been renovating since October.

Hmmmm…..a new man who looks an awful lot like Brad Pitt. Check.

Quest for the coolest accessory – an adopted baby. Check.

It appears that Aniston may be on her way to morphing into Angelina Jolie.

All she needs now is a great rack, fuller lips, and just a little touch of the crazy.
