Marie-Anne Thiebaud Speaks on Shania Twain Divorce

Marie-Anne Thiebaud is now speaking publicly about being the alleged other woman who broke up the marriage between Shania Twain and Robert Lange. Thiébaud said:

"You cannot believe everything you read in the press."

Sounds like something Dina Lohan would say.

When asked directly if she had an affair with Twain’s husband, music producer Robert "Mutt" Lange, she replied, "No."

LIAR!

Several sources said Lange and Thiebaud left their spouses for each other, and are continuing a romantic relationship. Should we believe Thiebaud, or the other sources.

Lange also denied the having an affair with Thiebaud saying he and Twain were "just a growing apart."

More lies.

Thiébaud began working for the ultra-private couple after they moved to Switzerland in 2000, acting as their personal assistant, secretary and manager of their vast château. A source said:

"They celebrated holidays and birthdays together. They were very good friends."

Twain is currently in her native Canada, and is said to be "devastated." Betrayal hurts.

Marie Anne Thiebaud Speaks Out

Marie-Anne Thiébaud, the women accused of breaking up the marriage of Shania Twain and Robert Lange, was contacted by E! News at her home in Geneva, and she said:

"I know what you’re ringing to ask me about, but, when marriages break up they break up for all sorts of complicated reasons, it’s never just one reason. And those reasons should be kept private."

Complicated reasons, like cheating with another woman.

"If you’re looking for a person that broke up a marriage then you have the wrong person. I’m not that person."

She means it was Lange’s fault, not hers.

Thiébaud, who is 37, also said she no longer works for the divorcing couple, and is retired, then declined to comment any further on the report, asking that the press not "intrude into people’s private lives." Especially the lives of homewreckers.

She’s retired at 37 years-old? Twain and Lange must have been paying her a fortune. Either that, or she found a rich man in the middle of a divorce to take care of her.

Back stabber. Shania turned her back and her best friend stole her man, and "devastated" the family. The source said:

Poor Shania. She doesn’t deserve this.

Robert Lange Cheated on Shania Twain

Shania Twain (42) and Robert Lange (59) tried to make the failure of their 14 year marriage sound like it wasn’t anything serious. Robert said:

"It’s literally just a growing apart, that’s all."

Sources now say that Lange was having an affair with Marie-Anne Thiébaud, a longtime secretary and manager of the couple’s chateau in Switzerland. The source said:

"Mutt and Marie Anne Thiebaud left their spouses for each other and are still in a relationship."

That’s so cold. Twain and Lange have a 6 year-old son Eja D’Angelo (pronounced "Asia").

Naturally, Lange is denying the affair is the reason for the failure of the marriage. He says:

"It’s absolutely not the reason for the separation."

When asked if he was having an affair with Thiébaud Lange said:

"I’m not, no. It’s not true."

Uh huh, riiiiiight.

The source said Twain is:

"… devastated. This came out of left field. She loved him."

The couple’s son is the one who will suffer the most. Some people think only of themselves.

Shania Twain and Robert Lange Divorcing

Shania Twain (42) and her husband, producer Robert "Mutt" Lange (59) are divorcing. Shania’s rep released this statement:

"Shania Twain and her husband, music producer Robert ’Mutt’ Lange, are separating after 14 years of marriage. This is a private matter and there will be no further comment at this time."
