According to reports on the net today, a intimate tape scandal has erupted over a home made sex tape that involved Shakira, her boyfriend Antonio de la Rúa, and Spanish singer-songwriter Alejandro Sanz. The tape allegedly shows the three involved in a threesome together while aboard a yacht which was owned by Sanz.

Prosecutors are reportedly holding on to the tape, as well as two people charged with trying to extort money from Sanz. The coupled being held in jail are Carlos González and his wife Sylvia Alzate, who are accused of trying to commit extortion, stealing a yacht, a jet ski, and a computer. The criminal couple claim in their court declaration their reason for their crimes were because Sanz would force them to work more hours than permitted by the United States’ laws.

Javier also said, according to the prosecutor, "if some of this tape’s content would be made public, it could seriously threaten the singer and couple’s private life".

If this tape ever got out, Shakira’s career would sky rocket.
