Scott Weiland Checks in and Out of Jail

Scott Weiland (40), in the mug shot above, checked into the Va Nuys, California jail on Monday at 8:55 am, and was released at 6:41 PM just as he was being assigned a cell. Weiland served 10 hours of his 8 day sentence for his DUI conviction, but he will still have to pay $2,000 in fines, and complete an 18 month alcohol education class. He might seem lucky right now, but only time will tell if he can stay sober, and keep himself from going back to jail for another DUI.
Scott Weiland is Headed for Jail

Scott Weiland has been sentenced to 192 hours in jail for his November DUI. This is his second DUI. Wrong way Nicole Ritchie served less than an hour for her second DUI. Weiland was just barely over the 0.08% legal limit. His bail was set at the time at $40,000. Weiland’s sentence today also includes $2,000 in fines, an 18 month rehab program, and a four-year summary probation. Weiland must report to jail by May 28.
Scott Weiland Was Arrested for DUI Again

Scott Weiland has been arrested for DUI again.
The Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver singer was driving on an L.A. highway around 6:15 PM on November 21 when he crashed his car. While the California Highway Patrol was investigating the non-injury wreck, they noticed Weiland appeared to be impaired. According to the police report, Weiland failed sobriety tests and refused to take a blood or urine test. He was booked for "driving under the influence of a drug."
He was released on $40,000 bail and will be back in court on December 13.
Weiland is no stranger to run-ins with the law. He was busted for buying crack in 1995, domestic violence in 2001, DUI on his birthday in 2003, allegedly trashed a hotel room while brawling with his wife. His wife later issued a statement saying her hubby was "simply trying to help calm me down."
