According to a "source," the New York Post has information that Francois-Henri Pinault may be the father of Linda Evangelista’s baby boy, while he was in a relationship with Salma Hayek. Here’s what they said:

WHEN Linda Evangelista gave birth a year ago to son Augustin James, the Canuck covergirl told the Canadian version of Hello! magazine the father was "a New York architect" she wouldn’t name. She may have been fibbing. A source tells us the father is Francois-Henri Pinault, 45, the French head of PPR (Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent) who’s now engaged to Salma Hayek, the mother of his 1-month-old daughter, Valentina Paloma Pinault. PPR didn’t return numerous e-mails and phone calls, but Didier Fernandez of DNA Model Management said, "Not true. She has never said who the father is."

I don’t think this bothers Hayek in the least. It’s not like she is engaged to Pinault because he’s a hot stud with bulging muscles, and looks that could kill. Once the two are married, Hayek can drown her anger with rooms full of handbags, dresses, and man servants that look like Chippendale dancers.

On Saturday Salma Hayek gave birth to Valentina Paloma Pinault, who is a girl. Salma was so big towards the end of her pregnancy, she looked like she was carrying twins. She also seemed like she was pregnant for 2 years (keyword: seemed), so I’m assuming her little girl is already walking, and potty trained, but still cries like a baby.

Earlier in the week Salma was with her French fiancé, Francois-Henri Pinault, at NYC’s Costume Institute Gala, and now she’s in Paris for some marathon shopping. Oooh la la. The Pinault family owns the brands, Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci, Balenciaga, and more. Can’t blame a girl for getting what a girl wants, needs, and has to have.
