Adam Sandler has a new movie coming out on June 25, 2010 called Grown Ups with Chris Rock, Kevin James, Rob Schneider, David Spade, Salma Hayek, Maria Bello, Maya Rudolph and many more stars.

The Sandler movies seem like they must be a lot of fun to work on, without huge paychecks for the actors, but everyone wants to be in them.

Sandler never gets old.

Another vampire movie hits theaters on October 23 just before Halloween. This one is called Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant, starring John C. Reilly, Willem Dafoe, Jane Krakowski, Ken Watanabe, and Salma Hayek.

The movie is based on the first three books in The Saga of Darren Shan, and it looks really good. Part of the appeal for me are a combination of a good storyline, cool special effects, humor, and good acting.

There are a lot of good movies coming out before the end of the year, including a special animated movie that John C. Reilly does voice work in called 9, and hits theaters on 9-9-2009. Good timing. 9 has bit of a dark story to tell, so it’s not likely to draw big crowds since people are preferring upbeat movies at this point in time.

Salma Hayek married her billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault, and the father of her daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault, on Valentine’s Day in the Saint Germain district of Paris. Despite the Valentine’s Day wedding it appears the marriage took place at city hall. Are they going to have a big wedding next?

Salma Hayek told People her daughter Valentina has a sixth sense, and speaks to ghosts in English, Spanish, and French. She said:

"Last night she saw a ghost. I’m convinced," says Hayek, "Last night she woke up and her eyes were open. And she’s looking at one specific point and she’s going, ’No no no no, au revoir,’ which means goodbye in French … And she’s looking at someone, but there’s no one there."

"I was so scared, and I’m like, ’Yes, au revoir, whoever you are, get out!’ And then she started saying it in English: ’Bye bye, bye bye!’ I guess she was trying in different languages to see what nationality this ghost was to go away. It was terrifying!"

Um, okay.

More amazing than that craziness is how Selma’s breasts are still producing enough milk to feed African babies.

Hayek, 42, discovered the child, whose mother was unable to produce milk, during a tour of a hospital in the war-torn country.
"The baby was perfectly healthy, but the mother did not have any milk," she later recalled to USA Today. "He was very hungry – I was weaning my daughter Valentina, but I still had a lot of milk, so I breastfed the baby."

"You should have seen his eyes," she said. "When he felt the nourishment, he immediately stopped crying."

Salma Hayek was caught smoking a cigarette while shopping with her mother and baby daughter at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills on Friday.

Gross. Second hand smoke kills, and gives kids asthma. With all the money Salma has, I’d think she would be smarter than this.
