Katrina Darrell shocked the judges of American Idol when she walked in wearing a skimpy bikini. The newest judge Kara DioGuardi immediately disliked Katrina, and let her know it. Fortunately, Simon Cowell, and Randy Jackson voted to send Katrina to Hollywood, which caused Paula Abdul to vote with the guys. Kara was so mad she even tried to do a sing off with Katrina, but Katrina responded coldly that Kara’s demonstration wasn’t any better. BURN! There is will be an ongoing cat fight between a judge and a contestant, especially if Katrina were to perform every song in the same bikini. HA!

Ryan Seacrest was also a bit tongue tied, especially when slutty Katrina kissed and tried to make out with him by the pool.

Later DioGuardi talked to Ryan about Darrell further saying:

"To her credit, she’s gotten so much attention. It was probably a good call to wear the bikini at the end of the day, but we wouldn’t be talking about the bikini if she killed the song."

Asked by Seacrest if she’d send through a "pretty" girl before a "cute" girl, DioGuardi said, "It’s hard to say. But pretty and cute … they’re important. It’s a visual medium. You’re going to see people on the covers and in the press."

"Of course, I want a pretty girl," she said, "but I’m not just looking for a pretty girl; I’m looking for an incredible voice, great stage presence. I’m a big champion of women. I’m not the kind of woman who’s going to drag a woman down."

"I vote for women," DioGuardi said. "I love women and want them to succeed."

Kara DioGuardi should know, she’s beautiful herself, and she can’t say that didn’t help her career. However, that doesn’t mean she won’t try to derail Darrell’s chances of winning the competition.

Darrell will add an Antonella Barba spark to the show however. So far we’ve found some modeling work by Darrell on lovinlife.ca, but we’re hoping to find pics with far less clothes to share with you.

With the ratings 10 percent lower for this season premiere compared to last season, the show needs a little controversy and spark to get people watching.

Ryan Seacrest attempted to get an interview with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards, but they completely ignored him in the video above.

Seacrest talked about the diss on his KIIS-FM radio show Monday:

Seacrest had gotten up next to the actress and beau Brad Pitt , hoping to score an interview on E!’s pre-show. "Hi, guys. Brad? Angelina?" he said, but they ignored his advance and brushed by him. Jolie and Pitt did stop for NBC’s Billy Bush, but Seacrest said, "there’s an NBC deal there. NBC hosted the Globes, and they have a deal to talk to the people who come to the Globes."Here’s what I realized when I went down there," Seacrest went on. "I realized quickly that it’s against the rules to walk down onto the carpet from the platform."

There’s a bit more than breaking the rules going on. It appears Pitt and Jolie ignore those that disrespect them. At the Golden Globes last year Seacrest got to interview the couple (video below), and Seacrest called Jolie "cold" afterwards on his radio show for not being more willing to answer his questions. Jolie’s mom was gravely ill at the time. Seacrest angered Jolie with his comments afterwards, and now it appears she is holding a grudge, which is something Jolie knows how to do really well.

Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas have admitted to kissing on the first date, even though they are officially denying a relationship. In separate interviews they gave themselves away:

Selena told Twist magazine:

"I had dinner on the beach with a crush and there were lights on the palm trees! Then, went walking on the beach, and after that we slow danced. Wait, it gets better. While we were slow dancing…my crush and I had our first kiss! And after it, I leaned back and I said, ’You cheated.’ And he said, ’Why’ and I said, ’I don’t kiss on the first date.’ Then he said, ’Well, I never really play by the rules.’ I was waiting for a a director to say, ’Cut’ I was like, ’Are we shooting this right now?"

Nick Jonas the told Girls’ Life magazine:

"On one date, the girl said to me, ’I don’t kiss on the first date.’ So I said, ’I don’t follow the rules.’" The brothers high-five to that one. "Ooooh! It was so good!"

Miley Cyrus is probably gettting some steamy pictures ready to leak right now, to try to make Nick jealous.

Pete Wentz was on the Ryan Seacrest radio show today. Pete said he, and Ashlee Simpson are staying at home rather than going on a honeymoon, and that Ashlee legally took the last name Wentz, but will be called Simpson professionally. They also both signed a prenup. Smart. Most couples would get married when their work schedules allowed them to go on a honeymoon, but this wedding took place because Ashlee is pregnant. It was a shotgun wedding.

Pete wouldn’t comment on Ashlee’s pregnancy, but he already confirmed it at the wedding.

Pete said that Tony Romo was at the wedding dancing mostly with Pete’s grandma. The story about Jessica and Tony still dating just keeps falling apart.
