Farrah Fawcett Has Died

Farrah Fawcett died at 9:28 am PST this morning at a hospital in Santa Monica at the young age of 62 years-old. Farrah was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006, and it spread (metastasized) to her liver. Long time lover, and father of her only child, Ryan O’Neal released this statement:
"She’s gone. She now belongs to the ages. She’s now with her mother and sister and her God. I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much. She was in and out of consciousness. I talked to her all through the night. I told her how very much I loved her. She’s in a better place now."
"She was with her team when she passed. Her eyes were open, but she didn’t say anything. But you could see in her eyes that she recognized us."
O’Neal was asked about his plan to marry Farrah in recent days, to which he said:
"There just wasn’t time, and Farrah wasn’t in any condition to do it."
During her fight to live Farrah said:
"That’s life. Everything has positive and negative consequences."
We are never ready to hear a legend like Farrah has left our world. You will be missed Farrah, and remembered.

Ryan O’Neal Pleads Guilty to Drug Charge

Ryan O’Neal (67) has pleaded guilty to a felony drug charge earlier today in Malibu. Ryan will now enter an 18 month drug diversion program. The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office says the case will be dismissed if O’Neal successfully completes the program. LUCKY!!!
Ryan was arrested in September along with his son, Redmond, and was later charged with felony methamphetamine possession. Sheriff’s deputies had searched the actor’s home while doing a check on Redmond O’Neal, who was on probation for a previous drug conviction.
We will never know for sure if Ryan accepted responsibility for the drugs to protect his son Redmond, but if he did, then let’s hope his son doesn’t waste this opportunity. With a drug conviction on Ryan’s record, a judge won’t consider his word worth much, if he asks the court to be easy on his son the next time he has legal trouble.

Redmond ONeal Admits Drug Relapse

Redmond O’Neal, and his father Ryan O’Neal, were both arrested in September when cops did a routine search of the house, and found crystal methamphetamine in Ryan’s room.
On Wednesday Redmond finally admitted in to a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge that the meth was his, and he had a drug relapse. The judge said:
"You’re a stand-up guy to come here and deal with your problem. I want you to stay clean. … You better stay clean or the hammer is going to fall."
Redmond has to go to rehab for 2 weeks. Wow, that’ll cure him. I can hear the sound of that hammer falling already.
Ryan and Redmond O’Neal Arrested for Meth Possession

Ryan O’Neal (67) and son Redmond O’Neal (23) were both arrested for Methamphetamine possession at 8:02 am this morning. Sheriff’s deputies say they performed a "routine" probation search of the home, when they found what "appeared to be methamphetamine" in Ryan’s bedroom. The probation was part of Redmond’s sentence after he pleaded guilty in June to two felony counts of possession and one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence.
Redmond’s half-sister Tatum O’Neal (44) was also busted for crack in June.
Both Ryan and Redmond were released on bond this afternoon. Hopefully rehab is on their to-do list.
Redmond O’Neal Pleads Not Guilty to DUI

Redmond O’Neal (23) son of actors Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal, was arrested on DUI and felony possession of heroin and methamphetamine on January 26, 2008, in Malibu. Today he plead no guilty to those charges. Initially police had pulled Redmond over for speeding on the Pacific Coast Highway, then realized he appeared really high. Look how dialated his pupils are in the mug shot.
In 2005, Redmond pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine and methamphetamine. He is due back in court May 29.
Hopefully he cuts a deal with the prosecutor. Nicole Richie got a second DUI, and she was in and out of jail the same day. Of course, Redmond doesn’t have the luxury of getting pregnant before his court date either.
