Last night I went to see American Gangster, and it was good. The movie is about a heroin kingpin named Frank Lucas, nick named Superfly, played by Denzel Washington, who is brought down by a truly honest cop New Jersey detective Richie Roberts played by Russell Crowe. Denzel deserves an Oscar. Towards the end of the movie some blacks walked out angrily saying Lucas was scum because he snitched on other criminals. I was surprised to see this behavior, but having seen so many interviews where blacks discourage telling the police who committed a crime, because they consider it a betrayal to other blacks, helped me understand where the negative sentiment came from. Lucas was however, without a doubt, a very important person in the history of the United States. He had a black market heroin empire that rivaled even the Mafia. Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington sat down with this week’s Entertainment Weekly (Now Weekly!) for a revealing interview about working together on their new crime drama American Gangster. Russell also talks about Leonardo DiCaprio’s virginity:

“You know, I worked with Leonardo when he was 18 [on the Western The Quick and the Dead]. He was a virgin, and he would talk about that constantly. So I’m hoping we have some time so he can fill in what’s happened in between. Maybe show some photos. Because I’m sure life’s different now.”

Leonardo can now brag about banging hot chicks like Bar Refaeli below. I wasn’t as lucky as Leonardo. I lost my virginity long before eighteen. Apparently girls like quiet, shy, smart, muscular boys like me.

Hollywood hardman Russell Crowe is convinced his former co-star Sharon Stone
has undergone cosmetic surgery to maintain her stunning features.

The Oscar-winner, who starred alongside Stone in the 1995 western The Quick and
the Dead, suggests the Basic Instinct actress should change her name because she
looks "like an orang-utan".

He says, "A lot seems to have changed. When are you not you any more? At what
point do you have to get a name change too?

"You can end up looking like a startled chimpanzee. The eyes are gone, the lips
are like rubber tyres – or more like an orang-utan that has been kicked in the
arse."

Stone, 48, has always denied having cosmetic surgery and she sued leading Los
Angeles surgeon Renato Calabria in 2004 after he appeared to tell an American
magazine he had given her a face-lift.
