robin williams and wife Robin Williams Wife Files for Divorce

Robin Williams wife Marsha filed for divorce in San Francisco on March 21, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The couple, who were married in 1989, got together after Marsha worked as a nanny for the actor and his first wife Valerie.

Robin got out of rehab again last year after being treated again for alcoholism. This split isn’t going to help him stay sober.

Robin Williams is out of Rehab

After 30 days in rehab for alcohol, Robin Williams is out, and was shopping at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills famed Rodeo Drive. His pink shirted sponsor was with him every step of the way to keep him walking a straight line. FYI, if you ever need to find a phone booth in that area, there aren’t any. Anyway, is it possible for Robin to be fun without his gin and juice? We’ll see. Good luck Robin.

Robin Williams Does Rehab

Comedian Robin Williams is being treated for alcohol abuse after 20 years of sobriety, Reuters reports. I guess he saw Mel Gibson, and thought, dang I don’t want to go down that road. The 55-year-old Oscar-winning actor “found himself drinking again” after two decades of sobriety and “has decided to take proactive measures to deal with this for his own well-being and the well-being of his family,” spokeswoman Mara Buxbaum said in a statement.

“He asks that you respect his and his family’s privacy during this time,” she said, adding, “He looks forward to returning to work this fall to support his upcoming film releases.” In addition to his new film The Night Listener, Williams has three more movies coming out later this year.

The actor was nominated for Academy Awards for his roles in Dead Poets Society, The Fisher King, Good Morning, Vietnam and won the Oscar for best supporting actor in Good Will Hunting.
