Before Twilight, Robert Pattinson appeared in a comedy called How to Be.

Pattinson stars in the movie and plays Art, a twentysomething young man who moves in with his parents after being dumped by his girlfriend. Feeling he’s hit an all-time low, he works in a supermarket and an assisted-living home, Art ends up hiring a live-in self-help guru.

Pattinson also sang three songs on the movie’s 23 track soundtrack, because his character Art is a struggling musician.

The movie is currently at the film festival, and is due to be released through IFC Festival Direct on April 29.

From the looks of the movie, it will probably get a very limited release much like his other film Little Ashes.

In the movie Pattinson plays homosexual surrealist painter Salvador Dali.

Robert Pattinson is appearing in a movie similar to Brokeback Mountain. Pattinson plays a homosexual Salvador Dali in a movie called Little Ashes. Pattinson is going for an award, and hopes that playing a gay character will allow him to win one.

It’s too bad Hollywood is less interested in awarding hard work and talent, rather than sending political messages.

Robert Pattinson has been upsetting many on the Twilight New Moon set in Vancouver, B.C., because he stinks, as we said before. A crew member complains:

"He stinks. I mean, it’s awful. He never showers, and it drives people on the set crazy. He completely reeks."

Smelly doesn’t equal sexy.
