Robert Goulet died today at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he had been awaiting a lung transplant after being found last month to have a rare form of pulmonary fibrosis. His wife said his last words before doctors inserted an endotracheal tube to help him breathe were:

"Just watch my vocal cords."

Goulet was 73 years old, and he will be missed.
