Vampire movies are all the rage again, so Robert Downey Jr. is in negotiations to reprise the role of Lestat Du Lioncort that Tom Cruise made famous in the 1994 movie Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles, which co-starred Brad Pitt as Louis de Pointe du Lac.

The new movie is to be a prequel, which is actually a bit of a problem, since Lestat was about 20 years-old when he was turned into a vampire. Despite the age discrepancy, any chance to see Downey work his acting magic on the silver screen is a privilege.

The Sherlock Holmes movie trailer is finally online, and it looks good. Guy Ritchie directed this movie during his divorce from Madonna, and with a cast including Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Mark Strong, and Rachel McAdams it looks like a hit.

Despite being another remake, it looks like Downey could have landed another starring role in another profitable franchise.

The movie hits theaters on Christmas Day.

Robert Downey Jr. showed off very real looking six pack abs in a still shot from his upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie, which is directed by happily divorce Guy Ritchie. Abs can easily be airbrushed. Remember the movie 300?

Robert Downey, Jr. told The Times magazine in an interview:

"A lot of my peer group think I’m an eccentric bisexual. That’s OK. Being relaxed about sexuality is something you’re born with.’ My identity was written on the wall by ancient and formidable guides and forces. The best thing I can do is keep my hand out of it."

Being bisexual is only halfway to being a homo, which is a halfa$$ed approach. It probably helps to be bisexual in Hollywood, especially when you’ve got a director who fancies you, but is also having a hard time deciding if you’re right for the part.
