Whoopi Goldberg Defends Chris Brown
Whoopi Goldberg, and the rest of the girls, agreed on The View today that the personal and professional life of Chris Brown should be kept separate.
The girls also felt Brown is innocent until proven guilty. At issue here isn’t if Brown hit Rihanna, it’s if Rihanna hit Brown first and he went overboard after intially defending himself. If both Rihanna and Brown hit each other, shouldn’t they both be charged with felony domestic assault? Sexism against men is unacceptable. We support equal rights for men.

Evan Rogers Speaks Out on Rihanna

Evan Rogers, the music producer who worked with and discovered Rihanna, spoke out on the pressure she feels from the public regarding her relationship decisions with Chris Brown. Rogers said:
"I think that everyone has good intentions and means well, but it turns up the heat in terms of it seeming like the whole world is telling her what to do. At the end of the day, people forget that at 21, your perspective is very different. These kinds of things can happen to anyone, whether you’re a celebrity or not.
I think she’s very aware of everything that’s going on. Just like anyone else, she watches TV, she goes online. And I think that it matters to her, but there’s a line that she walks between being human and caring when you hear these kinds of things, and separating your personal life from your professional life. She’s doing the best she can and this is a very difficult time that she’s going through right now and she’s going to learn a lot from it."
A very wise statement. Public pressure caused Britney Spears to divorce Kevin Federline, and it’s clear now that was a mistake. Rihanna needs to make her own decisions regarding her own life and future.
No Duet for Chris Brown and Rihanna

Recent reports said that Chris Brown and Rihanna were recording a duet song together, however a source says:
"Around August or September of 2008, Chris and Rihanna’s vocals were recorded as the reference vocals, but the song was never conceived or intended to be a duet between them."
The rumor of a duet was entirely false. Brown was recording last weekend, but not with Rihanna.
Rihanna is also not pregnant or married, but she is trying to avoid testifying in Brown’s upcoming hearing.
Recent polls are saying that at least half of people polled believe Rihanna is just as guilty as Brown, since she hit him first. If assault is assault, then why was Brown the only one charged, when Rihanna hit Brown first. Some people believe Brown was only defending himself, but the fact is both of them are guilty of assault, and they need counseling. It will happen again to both of them, in different relationships.
Rihanna is spending time partying with Jay-Z and Beyonce this weekend in New York.
Rihanna Went Clubbing
On Tuesday Rihanna went clubbing with friends in Hollywood. Despite all the drama the public is trying to inject into her personal life, Rihanna is still trying to carry on.
Rihanna’s situation reminds me of Britney Spears. The public and the media kept the pressure on for her to divorce Kevin Federline, so she did, and then her life fell completely apart. Britney even lost custody of her kids. It probably would have been better for Britney to stay with Kevin, but we all knew better, just like now with Rihanna and Chris Brown.
Chris Brown Cheating on Rihanna with His Manager

There is a rumor circulating that Chris Brown (19) received a message from his manager Tina Davis (40) asking to hook up with his later. Chris received three text messages.
When Rihanna read the messages, or at least tried to she lost it, and started slapping and hitting Brown, that’s when he fought back.
The detective’s affidavit refers to the text message as being "from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with." It’s unclear who that allegation came from, but it’s unlikely to have come from Brown.
Both Brown and Davis deny having a sexual relationship when he was 16 years-old as is alleged.
