Rihanna wrote the hit song Unfaithful to remind people that women are just are guilty as men when it comes to cheating in relationships.

The 18-year-old singer was inspired to write the song from her own personal experience, after she had an affair behind a boyfriend’s back.

She explains, “It’s not anything I’m proud of, but this album is called A Girl Like Me because all of the songs are personal experiences. I felt like I had to sing about being unfaithful, because there are a lot of girls who have been and are unfaithful, and don’t want to say it. But, hello, it’s reality. We always talk about the guys being unfaithful dogs, but people forget that girls cheat too!”

It’s refreshing to hear a woman be so honest. Rihanna is a breath of fresh air.

Singer Rihanna, members of the real-life press, and the citizens of fictitious Pine Valley mix, will mingle on a faux red carpet for the grand opening of “ConFusion,” a new hip and trendy nightclub featured on All My Children.

The episode to air Tuesday, July 25 (1:00-2:00 ET) also features Rihanna singing both her blockbuster summer hit “S.O.S” and “Kisses Don’t Lie” from her follow-up album, A Girl Like Me.

Rumors have been circulating recently that hip-hop mogul Jay-Z has been acting a little too cozy with newcomer Rihanna. The rumors started around the time Jay-Z signed Rihanna to his Def Jam label. Rihanna put out hits S.O.S and Unfaithful, which made Jay-Z look like a genius for signing her, but still the rumors persisted. Jay-Z, Beyoncé Knowles, and Rihanna were just seen having dinner together, you might call it a formal threesome. The women appear to have settled any riff between them as they were photographed all smiles while leaving Bar Pitti in New York separately last night. Jay-Z however, had that “it’s business” look on his face.
