Ricky Martin got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The $15,000 the celebrities pay to get their star makes it seem like it isn’t earned, but Ricky has earned it. He’s gone from one end to another in this business. Congratulations Lola.

Ricky Martin was doing some bumping and grinding the other night at his show, but he doesn’t look like he knows what to do with a woman. Maybe if that dancer was a tranny he would have felt more at home.

What he really means to say is, Ricky Martin sucks celebrities.

Ricky Martin is standing up for pop stars who come out of the closet.

"Life is too short to live closed up, guarding what you say," he told the Associated Press on Friday, saying he felt solidarity with Christian Chavez of the Mexican band RBD, who recently announced that he is gay. Chavez, he added, "has to be free in many aspects. I wish him much strength."

Martin, 35, also talked about his Ricky Martin Foundation, which he credits with inspiring him in his songwriting. Among other projects, the foundation works to stop human trafficking, and especially child trafficking, through its People for Children program. "It’s a spiritual search," Martin said. "The philanthropic work helps me write music and the music helps me in the philanthropic work." He’s also happy that more celebrities are working with charities. "If this is a fashion, then I hope a lot more fashions like this come along," he said.

The Puerto Rico native is due to tour the U.S. in April and May.

Yes everyone is so brave for coming out of the closet and telling the world they are gay, at a time when being gay is very well accepted and popular. Which begs the question, why hasn’t Ricky Martin come out of the closet yet?

Ricky Martin, Puerto Rico’s all-time top-selling artist, added a new honor to go with his multiple Grammy awards on Thursday, he was named king of the 50th annual National Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York. Parade organizers said the honor recognizes Martin’s musical success and his efforts to fight the exploitation of children worldwide.

Little Ricky should really represent Puerto Ricans and Latinos as himself, and go as the queen many believe he is.

The parade has awarded other titles before such as grand marshal and padrino, or godfather, this year’s parade, scheduled for June 10, is the first to have a king. Organizers are going to be sorry later if little Ricky comes out of the closet. Oh well, it’s their party, they can cry if they want to.
