Daniel Craig and Richard Gere on a Yacht

Daniel Craig and Richard Gere spent some quality time together getting some sun in the Caribbean on a yacht.
While he’s on vacation, Craig’s new movie Defiance, which will be released January 16, has stirred up controversy. Defiance is about three Jewish brothers escape from Nazi-occupied Poland into the Belarussian forest, where they join Russian resistance fighters, and endeavor to build a village in order to protect themselves and others in danger.
Controversy can increase ticket sales.
Richard Gere Opts Out Of Using a Butt Double

Richard Gere may be getting up there in years, but he is still fond of his derriere.
24/Sizzler received this news release from Extra, in which the director of Richard Gere’s upcoming film The Hunting Party, Richard Shepard, tells Extra the actor didn’t require a butt double. Great headline:
(New York – August 22, 2007) – “Extra†spoke to Richard Shepard, the director of Richard Gere’s film, “The Hunting Party.†Gere didn’t use a butt double, but Shepard says, “We had a butt double standing by.†About convincing Gere to drop his drawers, Shepard adds, “It didn’t take a lot!†As for shooting the scene, Shepard comments, “We did it at the airport…we had the runway shut down… as planes were circling, the butt came out.â€
Much like the Pied Piper, as soon as Gere dropped his drawers, gerbils everywhere came running to the place they call home.
