Prince William is rumored to be marrying Kate Middleton in the fall of 2009. The royal family is set to announce the pending engagement of the royal couple in February of 2009.

Prince Harry (23) received a campaign medal for his service in Helmand province, Afghanistan today. He served 10 weeks of a four month tour, but it was cut short after the media revealed his location. Chelsy Davy (23) was Harry’s special guest, and she sat with Prince William during the ceremony.

It won’t be long now before the royal princes get married, and have babies.

Prince William graduated just got his flying wings at a Royal Air Force graduation ceremony today. Prince Charles, who is Britain’s Air Chief Marshall, presented his son, and 32 other graduates, with their wings.

Kate Middleton, William’s girlfriend, was also in attendance. Now that graduation is over, will these two be getting engaged soon, or will the Prince spread his wings and fly away?

Prince William bought his girlfriend Kate Middleton a pari of earrings with white gold posts and cubic zirconia instead of real diamonds. My first thought hearing this was, "that’s so cheap." I also thought maybe he doesn’t value Kate, and their relationship. Thinking a little more deeply I realized perhaps William wants Kate to value him and their relationship, rather than his status as Prince and the money from the royal family. So many women judge a man’s love by how much money the man spends on them, which is very shallow in my opinion. It’s possible Prince William wants to send that very message to Kate, that he doesn’t want a commercially viable relationship, but wants one that is based on caring and consideration for each other. The other possibility is that he needs the money for hair plugs to reverse his balding.
