As we told you yesterday, Ellen DeGeneres announced on her show that she will marry Portia de Rossi. Portia was in the audience. The law goes into effect 30 days from yesterday, which should be about June 14, if the law counts weekends, and now business days only.

Don’t forget the prenup. Relationships take on a whole new meaning when they’re legal.

Back in October of 2007, reports falsely said that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi had split. They were so wrong. On Ellen’s show today, Ellen announced that she and Portia are GETTING MARRIED. The announcement will air Friday.

Making this possible was a California Supreme Court ruling today that struck down the ban against gay marriage.

Ellen told the Advocate today:

I’m thrilled that the California supreme court overturned the ban on gay marriage. I can’t wait to get married. We all deserve the same rights, and I believe that someday we’ll look back on this, and not allowing gays to marry will seem as absurd as not allowing women to vote.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi attended the Takashi Murakami Honors together. The look on their faces tells the story of a troubled relationship. We need a body language expert. Rumors are still circulating that Ellen and Portia are still having a lot of difficulties in their relationship due to the age difference, and Portia just isn’t happy any longer, and wants to move on. Ellen’s PR person has been denying any problems, and a split that was rumored. Despite the denials, rumors are still circulating that their relationship is rocky at best. I see them holding hands for appearances, but their faces show distant emotions rather than unity. Time will tell.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are not breaking up according to Ellen’s rep. The rep. is denying claims made by Star magazine that the couple are splitting up. Do you smell that? Where there’s smoke there’s fire.

Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi are reportedly splitting up after three years. Apparently Ellen’s sobbing breakdown on her show had little to do with a little dog named Iggy, and more to do with a little pussy. Star Magazine says:

A source said that their 15 year age difference is having an effect. "Portia has been telling Ellen she’s very unhappy at home. When it comes down to it, she wants to be with someone younger ad hotter. She wants out, but Ellen has been begging her to stay. Portia is really everything in this world to her.”

Don’t forget that Ellen’s breasts can touch her knees, and so can her butt, plus she’s got that mysterious old lady odor down there. A little whiff does wonders for losing weight, but it kills the romance.
