Phil Collins (57) is the latest husband to be financially raped in a divorce. Phil’s ex-wife, Orianne Cevey (35), was paid $46.76 million in the divorce settlement, which beats gold digger Heather Mills by about $2 million. The divorce settlement is the biggest ever in Britain.

The former couple were married only six years, and had two children together.

Phil should have been smarter and signed a prenuptial agreement. He’s paid out more than $84 million in support in two other divorces over the years. Phil’s second wife Jill Tavelman received $34 million after he ended their relationship by fax in 1994. Phil has had children with each of his wives.

At the age of 57 Phil Collins announced he has retired from music. He notes he completed his reunion tour with his former band Genesis, and he will be neither touring again, or releasing any further albums.

In his free time he plans to collect memorabilia from the Battle of the Alamo. Collins said, "It’s not that unusual for a man of my age who grew up reading about Davy Crockett." Sounds boring, unless you’ve got literally nothing more exciting going on in your life.

It seems like Collins had already retired. No one was expecting him to tour, or put out anymore albums anyway, so why even go to the trouble of announcing his retirement?
