Famed junkie Pete Doherty missed out on his own nuptials to supermodel Kate Moss on Saturday, reports Britain’s Daily Express. Moss flew 14 close friends, including her brother Nick, to a resort in Bali last week, causing widespread speculation the couple was planning to get married.

But Doherty was detained in London when a judge ruled that he must attend rehab to make bail for cocaine and heroin charges. Doherty pled guilty on Friday and will be confined to London’s Priory Clinic each night until sentencing. Despite the efforts of Moss and her lawyers to find a loophole, the Babyshambles’ lead singer won’t be making it to Indonesia.

“She is in a terrible state. When she flew to Bali, she was ecstatic and told friends there was going to be a ceremony,” a source told the Express. Though Moss dumped Doherty last summer after a year-and-a-half of dating, the couple reunited last month and have been dating ever since. The model has been sporting a diamond ring on her left ring finger for several weeks.

Lucky for Moss, Doherty is now prepared if the two ever do end up exchanging vows. He already has something old (drug habit), something new (new drug charges), something borrowed (an orange jumpsuit) and something he once blew (cocaine).

Pete Doherty Pete Doherty is planning to exhibit his "blood paintings" at a London gallery, in a bid to prove he was drawing blood from fan Laura Mcevoy, not injecting her as photographs published in the British media suggest. The pictures, printed in UK newspaper The Sun, appear to show the self-confessed drug addict injecting himself with heroin, as well as a comatose young fan on his kitchen floor. But the Baby Shambles star, who was subsequently arrested last weekend (April 29, 2006) under the Offences Against The Person Act, insists he was using an empty needle to obtain blood for one of his works of art, which are to be priced at around $1,750 each. Doherty’s self-styled literary agent Paul Roundhill says, "I picked these pictures up at his flat in Hackney. "Blood paintings are something he has done for a long time. "I think they help explaining the photograph of Laura. It shows he does blood paintings." Doherty’s former manager James Mullord has also recently had blood drawn from him by the singer. He adds, "He was very careful, he used a new needle. "Pete has become very good at using the syringe, either scratching it on to the paper or spraying an area. "It creates an effect a little like a Ralph Steadman cartoon." Doherty is an IV drug abuser, and his paintings are just an extension of his addiction, but the fact remains he likes to shoot-up, and he was high during the pictures, so logic dictates he was shooting his fan up with heroin. Drug fiend Pete Doherty stoops to a shocking new low in pictures showing him injecting heroin into an unconscious fan.

The junkie Babyshambles singer, who has won the heart of supermodel Kate Moss, was snapped jabbing the pretty youngster as she lay in his squalid kitchen.

Other pictures seen by The Sun show the rocker — who faces drugs charges — injecting himself and being helped to take drugs by a girl using her hands to form a makeshift tourniquet.

Yet another sees Doherty, 27, smoke a “crack bowl”, his tattooed and blood-stained arms betraying his addiction.

The disturbing scenes were captured by a pal at Doherty’s pad in Hackney, East London, within the last five weeks.

Scotland Yard today announced detectives are to quiz the rock star over the shocking photographs.

Kate Moss, 32 — who has been secretly seeing the singer despite claims they had split — was NOT present when the drug photographs were taken.

The comatose girl is from a middle-class background and idolises Doherty, often visiting him at his flat. She was left on the floor while he and his pals prepared more class A drugs for themselves.

A source said: “Doherty will self-destruct. He has no regard for his or anyone else’s safety.

“It’s one thing killing himself, but to inject a young girl as she lies on the floor is a disgrace. He should be in jail.

He was arrested again for the nteenth time, and only about 3 hours after a court spared him from jail time. I guess he just had to celebrate by getting high. Get well soon you sick #@$%, gees.

Pete Doherty has been arrested again on suspicion of new drugs offences.

The Babyshambles frontman was held on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with
intent to supply after cops stopped a car he was travelling in.

Doherty is in custody at an East London police station, along with the
21-year-old driver, who was also arrested.

The arrest, at 2.10pm today, came just three hours after the on-off lover of
supermodel Kate Moss was spared jail on drugs charges by magistrates.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "A 27-year-old man and a 21-year-old man were
arrested after a vehicle was stopped in Roman Road, E2, by plain clothed
officers who were carrying out a patrol in an unmarked police car.

"They were arrested on suspicion of possessing what was believed to be class A
drugs with the intent to supply.
