Pete Burns is critically ill with both kidney failure, and diabetes insipidus. He released the following statement on his website Sunday:

i simply want it annouced i collapsed on wed and was rushed to hospital going in two kidneys failure and rushed for emerngency 5 hours surgery were they found 8 stones in each kidney but were unable to remove them as they were blocking both the kidney. The uretha and bladder. I’m in a very serious conditions on 24 hours intravenous morphine for the pain. Intravenous fluid as i’m so dehytrade and the kidneys cant retain the liquid. I also have diabetes insipidus which is puling water from my lung. Liver heart and brain. I’m criticaly ill and under 24 hours observation and will be in hospital for quite along time.

I don’t know if Pete is going to live through this, but get well soon anyway.

One way to prevent calcium kidney stones is to either drink cranberry juice, or take the concentrated cranberry pills which is better. Cranberry turns the urine more acidic, which disolves calcium stones, and keeps bacteria from causing an infection in the kidneys and bladder.

With the stones blocking everything including his kidneys, ureters, etc., I expect Pete also has hydronephrosis, which is quickly destroying his kidney cells. Doctors might want to try lithotripsy if the stones cannot be removed any other way. If they don’t do something, Pete will die.

Pete Burns was rumored to have sold an intimate tape of his own, after he discovered his boyfriend Michael Simpson was getting busy with every a-hole that walked by. Pete is already speaking out, and says he wasn’t the one who sold the tape. He also mentioned how his man had unsafe sex with countless other men while they were together, and he’s a little concerned about his health. Well maybe more jealous than concerned. Pete said:

"Ok. i have seen it, everybody else will. I personally have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. I can’t speak for the other party involved in this, but then much to my horror during November it became clear that in the 5 years we were together half of London club land has participated in this sort of Side Show with my partner. Some of this evidence emerged through a tabloid and several of the partcipants attemped to blackmail me. I tried to keep a lid on it but it’s been an ongoing debacle. I assure you this is not a Paris Hilton Stint on my part.

I have my ideas, who has actually sold this to a film company (because believe me, there is more). I didn’t expect the dog to escape from my own kennel. These highly personal home movies were only ever in Michael’s possession. As you can see, we obviously didn’t participate in safe sex, I trusted he was monogamous. I have since found out that was a cast of thousands and Michael’s flavour was definately ’unsafe’. you can imagine how I am feeling right now. My career looks like it’s going to explode, I just hope my health doesn’t.

With Pete going on tour this summer in the U.S., this all smells like a publicity stunt.

Pete Burns released his own intimate tape on Xtube, only to remove it hours later. Yes, Pete actually leaked it himself. Why? Pete was angry at his current husband for cheating on him with "hundreds of rent boys," and he even kicked his husband out. At first Pete blamed the leak on his husband, saying it was to ruin him, but now Pete is said to be shopping the video around to sell it and the his story of betrayal. Sources who say they’ve seen the tape, say Pete is very hair in all the wrong places, and his intimate parts will make you lose your lunch.

In July of 2007, Pete married the husband he’s angry at, Michael Simpson. Before this marriage Pete was married to a woman for 25 years, and cheated on his wife with the guy he married. Pete loves to be the drama queen.
