Paula Abdul performed her single Here For the Music on American Idol. It’s no surprise Paula lip synched the performance with all the dancing she was doing.

Paula finally admitted a few days ago that she was addicted to prescription pain killers after years of denial. Paula says after 2 car accidents, she had 15 spinal surgeries, and since she had constant pain she became addicted to pain killers. Paula says she checked herself into rehab last Thanksgiving to get off the drugs.

Now Paula claims to be drug free, and there she is dancing like she doesn’t have any back or spinal problems, or pain. I don’t believe Paula’s claim about the surgeries at all. First, surgery can only be done on an area like the back 2 or 3 times max, because of the scar tissue that forms after each surgery. Second, if Paula had such severe problems with her back that she required an unbelievable 15 surgeries, there is absolutely NO WAY Paula could be dancing like she’s 20 years-old. We believe Paula is lying for sympathy to cover up the fact she was a drug addict, without any excuse for being a drug addict. Same old Paula. There’s little doubt in our minds that Paula will slip back into her drug habit sooner rather than later.

After years of denials Paul Abdul is finally admitting she was addicted to pain killers. We covered Paula’s erratic behavior, and challenged her to get drug tested to prove she wasn’t taking drugs, but Paula said the stories were made up by the tabloids. Looks like Paula was the real liar.

Paula says she went to rehab last November.

Sacha Baron Cohen, who plays a gay Austrian reporter in Bruno, was able to fool easily confused Paula Abdul into doing an interview, and the interview is said to appear in the Bruno movie. A source said:

"Paula was totally fooled. She bought into his character and to this day isn’t aware she was fooled."

Neither Paula’s rep, nor Universal who is releasing Bruno on July 10, would comment on the interview.

The Paula interview might be the funniest part of the movie. She might even sue if she looks out of it.

Paula Abdul told OK! magazine:

"I will be releasing an album later this year, one single at a time. I am going to revolutionize the way that music is delivered."

Who is going to buy this trash? Does Paula think selling one single at a time on iTunes is revolutionary? Maybe she hadn’t heard of iTunes before today.

Mark Mudd auditioned on American Idol in Louisville, Kentucky, and sang a George Jones song called White Lightning. From the start the judges all prejudged Mark, and made comments that showed their obvious lack of understanding for his southern culture. After the judges gave Mark the thumbs down left with the following comment:

"Be careful in whatever you do."

Paula Abdul immediately shot back:

"Is that a threat?"

Whoa! Simmer down Paula. It’s just southern slang, and it’s meant to mean something like "take care."

After American Idol realized how offended southerners might be they issued the following apology:

"We apologize to any viewers who were offended by the misinterpretation of the contestant’s comment to "be careful" upon completion of his audition in Louisville, KY. Our visits to audition cities are relatively brief and sometimes regional greetings and salutations are lost in translation. We had not heard that phrase from any other contestants during the day, so it took everyone by surprise. We now know better and look forward to visiting Louisville again someday."

The judges might also apologize for mocking Mudd as he walked into the room. It’s obvious they saw him as white trash, and prejudged him before he even opened his mouth. Sad.
