Ryan Seacrest, 31, is denying a published report that he doesn’t speak to
American Idol judge Paula Abdul. Last week a magazine published comments from
the AI host confessing that his off-camera relationship with Abdul is strained.
“I don’t know what the deal is. It’s very awkward,” he was quoted as saying.
When asked if they speak, the magazine reported that he said, “No.”

Now Seacrest (who also hosts a radio show, L.A.’s KIIS-FM’s On-Air with Ryan
Seacrest) says that his statements were taken out of context. “It was said in
jest,” he tells Us. “We are a dysfunctional family. There is no feud. Paula is
on KIIS-FM [this morning] to tell me about the success of her jewelry line. The
four of us are always going back and forth with each other.”

Abdul, 43, also dimissed any supposed hostility in a statement released Tuesday
to The Associated Press. “Reports of a feud are ridiculous,” she said. “There’s
nothing but love.”

On a side note, Paula is a drunk, and I feel sorry for Simon to have to sit next to her. She should be in the penalty box when she comes to the show drunk, plus she needs mittens, and a helmet to keep from hurting herself or anyone else in her drunken rants. I’m wondering if her newly signed 3 year contract to be on American Idol will last 3 years now that’s she’s drinking again.

Obviously Paula Abdul either has a drinking problem again or she’s hopped up on prescription drugs to numb the pain from her recently reported assault at a party in Los Angeles. Either way, she’s melting, and her misbehavior could put her new 3 year contract with American Idol in jeopardy. Shape up Paula. You can’t blame this on Simon.

Did you see Groundhog Day where Bill Murray had to keep repeating the same day over and over until he got it right, and only then would the next day come? Sounds a bit like Paula Abdul. Paula signed a deal to do another 3 years judging for American Idol. Paula almost got herself fired after a rumor surfaced that she slept with one of the contestants, but turns out the rumor wasn’t true. Looks like fans have another 3 years of Paula on American Idol buffering the ever brash, and harsh Simon Cowell. In the meantime, Simon is starting another show to compete with American Idol. Smart guy.
