Paul McCartney Fan Gets Autograph Tattoo

Paul McCartney was performing in Halifax when he was get caught off guard while performing Calico Skies by a fan holding up a sign that read:
"Will you sign my arm so I can get it tattooed."
Paul stopped the set and said:
"Here I am trying to remember the tune, trying to remember the lyrics, and someone holds that up in front of me. Its quite a distraction, its hard not to look at that!"
Paul then called the fan Audrey onstage, and did in fact sign her arm. The moment was pure magic. The picture above is Audrey’s arm. She did get the tattoo as promised.

Paul McCartney and Ringo Star Perform Together
Paul McCartney and Ringo Star reunited onstage at the Radio City Music Hall for the first time in almost seven years on Saturday night.
The two surviving Beatles performed to help raise money for the David Lynch Foundation’s "Change Begins Within" benefit, which aimed to raise money in order to teach transcendental meditation techniques to one million children around the world. The Beatles themselves have used those same techniques.
During McCartney’s lengthy solo set he called Ringo to the stage saying:
"At this point we would like to introduce somebody to you who you know, you’ve heard his name. He’s going to come out here and play you a little song this joyful night. Ladies and gentlemen, Billy Shears!"
As it is, "Shears," Starr’s Sgt. Pepper pseudonym, and McCartney last played together in November 2002, at London’s Concert for George held in the wake of George Harrison’s death.

Paul McCartney Upset McDonald’s Used His Picture to Attract Customers

Paul McCartney, who has been a vegetarian for 30 years, was extremely upset after he learned staff at a McDonald’s put up his pictures to attract customers. Paul’s portrait appears alongside bandmate John Lennon and fellow vegans Ringo Starr and the late George Harrison at a Liverpool branch.
Sir Paul’s spokesman Geoff Baker said:
“What sort of morons do McDonald’s think Beatles fans are?"
“It’s ridiculous and insulting to use images to peddle hamburgers. Fans should boycott McDonalds, and not just in Liverpool.”
A McDonald’s spokeswoman insisted the pictures were to “acknowledge the outstanding contribution the Beatles made to both local and global culture.”
Now that McDonald’s knows Paul doesn’t agree with his image being used in the stores, they should take the pictures down, and put up someone that better reflects the image of a burger eater like Kirstie Alley in my opinion. Although I have no idea if Alley eats burgers.
