Clay Aiken Announces He IS GAY and Holds Baby Boy

In the issue of People hitting newstands on Wednesday, Clay Aiken finally admitted he is in fact GAY, saying “YES I’M GAY.” Sorry Claymates. On the cover Clay also holds his newborn son Parker Foster Aiken, who was born on August 8, and is a real cutey. We can now officially refer to Clay as Gaiken.

Clay told people upon announcing he’s a gay man:

"I cannot raise a child to lie (like he did) or to hide things (like daddy did)."

We’re glad he’s coming clean about his backdoor lovin. Clay having a baby with a woman in her 50s seems even more irresponsible to us now, since they both knew the child would be brought into a broken home. Daddy lives his own gay life, while baby lives with a single mother. Not that there’s anything wrong with single parenting, but at least a heterosexual couple could give living together a chance for the baby’s sake.

We live in a morally twisted world.

Clay Aiken Baby is Born to Jaymes Foster

Clay Aiken (29) and Jaymes Foster (50) welcome their artificially inseminated baby boy into the world this morning at 8:08 am 8-8-2008. Clay wrote on his web site:

"HE’S HERE! My dear friend, Jaymes, and I are so excited to announce the birth of Parker Foster Aiken (No hyphens. One first name. One middle name. One last name.)"

"Wow … 8:08 … 08/08/08. The little man is healthy, happy, and as loud as his daddy. Mama Jaymes is doing quite well also."

Parker, whose name is his grandmother Faye’s middle name, weighed 6 lbs., 2 oz. and was 19 inches long.

Aiken’s mother, Faye, first broke the news by telling Lynda Loveland of Raleigh, N.C., TV station WRAL about the birth. According to Faye, Foster gave birth at a North Carolina hospital.

Clay’s mom also said that baby Parker has "dark hair" and that Clay is "smiling from ear-to-ear" about the news.

Numerology expert Daniel Hardt says:

"Eight is a very powerful number. It’s a number of mastery. It’s a number of being in control. That’s why a lot of people are drawn to it."

Eight is also a lucky number in Chinese culture, which is why the Opening Ceremonies for the Summer Olympics are scheduled for 8/08/08. The number eight means mastery, and the hope is that will translate into money.

This baby certainly was born on a lucky day, and a lucky time. This could mean that Clay could cut a deal to sell baby pictures to a tabloid.

Although Clay and Jaymes do not have a romantic relationship, the pair plan to raise the baby together.
